The TS community is just so accepting of people, no matter what you look like, nor where you were born. I've been struggling with depression, and I can just come on here to talk to you all to help me feel better. Isn't that a wonderful feeling?

I'm glad you've found the Playground to be the kind of place you want to be. We practice truth in advertising here. We bill ourselves as a transgendered support site,

and support is what we provide. Laura made it possible, but the members, all of them, is what makes this place live and breath. You are a part of that too.

This place is WONDERFUL!

I was here as a member and it really gave me insight - taught me how gender dysphoria is not the terrible condition I thought it was. I learned to accept myself - as much because of the peoploe here, as it was from my therapy work.

Moderator? I was so flattered to be asked! And I am not always 100% - I still have my doubts and my moments - but putting down 'opinions' to others helped me stabilize my own feelings. And the membership and the other moderators keep me on a healthy mental path. Tain't easy for any of us!

And the friends I have here? OMG - across the spectrum - across the world! WHERE ELSE does this all come together?

I keep trying to leave. I want to stop being transsexual and evolve full-time into my true womanliness. Selfish I know - but its what I want.

BUT I keep coming back - amazed, like you, of what is here!

Yeah, I have to agree, you all are pretty amazing. And I don't think it's just here at Laura's (though some of you are exceptionally cool.) I have noted, with some despair, the tendency of members of one disenfranchised group targeting members of others, yet I see less of that in the trans community, I wonder why that is? In any case, I think it is very cool that as a general rule we are as accepting of others as we are.
