Hi hon.

I am looking to buy some breast forms myself. I heard from some online resources that oval shaped breast forms are the best. They are not cheap though, from what I have checked so far they range from $94.00 and up. Janets Closet is one place you may want to look at.

Hi Sweetheart,

I can help a little as I've purchased several sets. The first set I bought was a name-brand "attachable" form by Amoena (not sure of the exact spelling). They're a high-end medical grade supplier. They attached using a velcro type material on the form and you put adhesive patches on your chest and popped them on. They did bounce around like the real thing, but the adhesive pulled loose fairly soon. Might have had something to do with the fact I bought the giant, economy size. LOL

I was not a fan of the mastectomy bras, as I felt they didn't allow nearly enough jiggle when I moved and I wanted serious jiggle.

Those were the "teardrop" shape (also called oval, I believe). The shape you choose probably depends on your own body needs. You wear them sideways, with the thin part of the teardrop extending under your arms. I never felt they were the right shape for me.

Next, I bought some "triangle" shaped, which seem to be the closest to natural breasts. I ended up attaching them using Hollister medical adhesive, which works absolutely wonderfully and sticks those babies on very well and can last several days. Yaaaay! The downside to the adhesive is you need to use the adhesive remover to get it off and it's a fair amount of work to clean your skin and the forms. This didn't normally bother my skin.

I've purchased forms from high ends and I've bought them off Ebay pretty reasonably and I don't see a bunch of difference in what I've bought. I'd buy off Ebay again in an instant.

The Hollister medical adhesive I could buy from a local medical supply store. It's pricey, maybe 35 bucks US for a small can.

I finally found some nice bras with pockets in them that did a nice job of holding the forms and allowing the jiggle and that was my best choice.

I hope this helps,

Yvonne

TrueKare.com, They are pretty good with adhesive backs and you get get them for about 50-86$ depending on what size. The adhesive back has yet to fail me almost a year later. Discrete packaging and in my opinion pretty good quality for the price. They have a clearance option too depending on what size, size chart included. hope it helps

From the video, they look positively incredible, though $205 ain't cheap. (goin for a C cup)

Would love to hear from more people who have experience from this and other companies...

I used Original Looks silicone bra inserts in the beginning, i do not use them anymore as i am about a b cup, they were fairly inexpensive and felt very natural, just get a bra with pockets.

Astro_Liz gave a good review of the forms from TrueKare so, since her advice has yet to fail me and she's a scientist so I know she's probably given these puppies a thorough testing I decided to buy a pair of forms and try them out. I got the ASY-9 since my ideal cup size is a 42C and I absolutely love them! Make no mistake, when I put these on I definitely had boobs. You have to wear these with a bra but they're great quality, they feel real, the adhesive back helps them stay in place, they're easy to put on, take off, and take care of.

Best $100 I spent. Oh and they ship in a discreet brown cardboard box. Only thing I underestimated was how large they would be. I expected a small form but I'm not a small girl, and these aren't small forms. lol, but they're perfect for my frame and size.

i have bought the cheap forms off of eaby about 3 times... each pair has lasted about a year before they kinda got to the point where i could not use them anymore. i bought small forms that gave me like an A cup at best and then i just wore them all the time everyday. easy enough to hide back when i was not out. the cheap forms i got said they were self adhesive but after a while it would wear off and then i had to try other methods. i tried medical adhesive for awhile but its an awful pain to clean up and after 6 months of continuous use my skin was getting red and blistered. i found that the adhesive tapes sold at the breastformstore work pretty good and u can get multiple uses if u don't wash forms everyday and kinda double up your bra with a sports bra on top. but with this method you don't really get all the jiggle, just the shape.

I want a few specific things in a breast form.

A: FEELS like the real thing.

B: LOOKS like the real thing.

C: Color can be setup to blend with my skin tone (so its hard to tell when I'm wearing something that will expose the edges, like say, a swimsuit)

does the color match at all?

It's close but not the same. Noone sees them anyway since they're under my shirt.

I think with so many different color variations in people's skin it would be almost impossible to get an exact match.

I haven't actually bought anything yet, but one store I found was http://wwwthebreastformstore.com . They looked pretty good to me.

I got mine from thebreastformstore. I LOVE THEM! they have many different "grades" I got the silver and they are very good. The store also incudes some tape to go with. They hold in place all while being able to wear a regular bra. The feel and movement are very real. They are the Triangle shape. Also the people at that store are so wonderful to work with. I made a different purchase there as well just the other day. The color was wrong and they sent me a new item in the right color and sent a pre-paid package with the new item to send the wrong one back. So no cost on my part to get the right item. I will def go back for more shopping there.

Yes I have had experience with buying the breast forms. I bought mine a few years ago. I am very happy with both the service and the breast forms. I bought mine from thebreastformstore. I bought the Gold Seal Asymmetrical breast form. I also purchased their white mastectomy bra with places to insert the breast form. I recently bought the black mastectomy bra from them. Don't worry about the color etc. It will be hiding under your clothes. They also have a video on their site showing you videos of the different size and look.

Good luck in finding the best thing for you.

I researched a lot of places on the internet and ended up going to a local store to get them. I was very glad I did because the size charts had me at a size that was much too big for me. They first had me try the chart size for my body and then we decided that they were way too big for my frame. I ended up going down two more sizes and have a C size that looks very natural and proportional to my body. I would suggest that if you are going to do this on line that you work with them to be able to return what you get for another size.

Well I have been absent recently due to my new hobby of computer gaming. I have worked on a collection of NES, SNES, N64, Sega and now revamping up my PlayStation 1 and 2 collection and then will get Xbox original. My computer isn't powerful enough to run Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games. It's fun to see the old games that I grew up with.

It's truly bizarre, the changes that have happened over the years. Larger houses on smaller blocks of land which means less trees because there's no room for them, so less shading and the resultant need to run air-con harder, which adds to suburban heat sink, which results in higher local ambient temperatures, which results in increased air-con use. Vicious circle.

I don't have "air" here, so I pretty much live with what Mother Nature gives me.  Fortunately, there are trees in my yard which helps in the NC summer.  Windows and doors open all summer - closed up in winter. I do have fans, ceiling and windows. When you think about it, everyone used to live this way.

I cannot say that I have. As much as we hope that love, compassion, and therapy help, sometimes opening ourselves up to individuals who later to out to disingenuous, results in worsening of the original trauma. In addition, it may provide a secondary trauma. I have experienced this first hand, and it has left me hardened more than diamond or titanium. There is an emptiness that grabs you when you have been betrayed for innocently opening ourselves up, only to find someone who has went behind your back, and tried to destroy your life.    As for therapy, well, for some of us it works I suppose, until we either run out of money. Insurance is often not useful. There are many "counselors" who will not accept the insurance payments, but will willingly charge much more. When my counselor unilaterally decided to increase charges from 130/session to 180/session, I said enough is enough. I survive, sometimes despite myself. I have paid a fortune out of pocket for everything, and have no illusions about it. If I did not pay what I paid, I would not have received the services including the counseling. Transactional? Yes. I already knew I was transgender. That little gift will exist until my last heartbeat occurs. I will endure because I want to, and because my job/profession benefit others.    It was hard enough coming out later in life. I knew it would be hard. If I had a choice, would I choose to be transgender? No. If I had it to do over again, I would never tell a soul. I would take everything to the grave with me.

Good question, when it comes to love, the trauma from past makes it hard for me to know wither someone really loves me or not. My therapist suggested that I embrace my femininity more, due to my past trauma held me back from doing so and forgive those who mistreated me.

Hi MaeBe, good question about the T fighting back.. things to keep in mind for some of us who are on the E, levels may respond differently which requires a treating doctor to monitor both the T and E levels, there might be other test work to be done as well. I don't know what my T levels are, except I have a hormone imbalance. Oh yeah, I use the oral type of E not the shots, my treating doctor plans for me to use the patch form of E later on.

Good morning everyone,    Just when I think the crate and potty training is going well. Parker has decided that the laundry room is a good place to do his business. He rings the sleigh bells at the back door to go outside to potty, has not made the connection to needing to do his business. He is only 10 weeks old and still very much a young puppy.    On another note the rest of my world is going well, and off schedule. The only way I know what day of the week it is by looking at my phone. @Willowand @awkward-yet-sweet my wife and I keep our house on the cool side holding the thermostat on 69° F year round. We also have ceiling fans moving the air in each room. She even sleeps with an additional isolating fan in her bedroom. I think that one is more about white noise than cooling. I’m glad central Indiana is in a moderate temperature zone allowing us to experience distinctly different seasons.    Hug,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well I've been surviving at least that is something. Heading to visit the oldest and family tonight. Haven't seen them since before xmas. I just wish they would come visit us. None of them have seen the inside of the new house. We are going on 2 yrs. I know it is an embarrassment for my son to come visit his parents. Until they moved back to WY our 4 yr old granddaughter has never stepped foot into WY.   Since the wife left early for work. The puppy thinks he needs up early too, so up about half hour earlier than normal. Which maybe good as I (and maybe our youngest) am heading to a cars and coffee in Cheyenne this am. Even taking the wagon, which I was able to get the transmission fluid changed yesterday. god what a PITA that was.   Well off to see the wizard shortly. TOTO, where did I leave my gingham dress?   Hugs, Kymmie

Good morning    @awkward-yet-sweet you’d be plenty warm at my den. Wife keeps the temp between 76 and 78.  If I turn on a ceiling fan I get “do you need that fan on?”  I sleep best in a cool room snuggled up.   have a great day. Hot here!  Oh I went all the way in the pool yesterday it was nice.   Willow
