We have about two feet of snow if not more thanks to two blizzards that blew through here...

A cutaway sample...

And as a frame of reference, I'm 5 feet tall. So two feet is about up to my knees. And I wasn't all the way down to the bottom of that chunk of snow, mind you!

But, I was able to make this. :3 That's me on the left, and my lovely on the right.

And yes that triangular rock on my snowy chin is a soulpatch. XD

(If the actual images are too large, mods, feel absolutely free to take out the tags and leave the urls. I don't wanna slow down anyone's connection!)

Hello from South Jersey!

I really enjoyed the pictures of the snow persons... But which is which? (This is a genderbending website, is it not?)

Wx here: 17" snow last week, 5" snow (mixed with freezing rain this week) and more snow on its way next week. We haven't had such a

bad winter in years. (Cold yes, snow no)

Sincerely,

Roberta

The one with the soulpatch is me. The one with the boobs is my wife.

My snowperson got ridiculously smoothed out because his chest wasn't flat enough for my liking and I had to keep karate-chopping off chunks from the front of his torso. XD

Soulpatch snowman FTW!

Quoted for truth!

Well we got 12 and 1/2 inches of snow yesterday in the DFW area. That is a record for one day of snow fall. I know that isn't a lot to most of you but that is a lot here. We don't have a support system that can clear the roads. All they do is sand the over passes. Most everything is closed down until noon except for my work of course. At least work is slow and I can keep up with Laura's today.

Love,

Sarah F

Sarah.....

I do agree that is a LOT for your area!

And you don't have the plows like we have....

Also we do pre-emptive strikes on the roads...

When a major storm is coming we spray the roads with a brine that helps melt the snow as soon as it hits the surface of the road.

And we put down cinders on top of the snow for traction. And of course, our everloving salt that makes cars rust out at an early age....

We have huge dump trucks that plow as they spread cinders....

And it takes a lot for us to close anything down around here (rural)....

But, I'd sure like to see some green!

Well, it is time for me to go to work - I am in an essential profession - I sell appliances in a mall so you can see why I must traverse the deep snow (for us) and possibly icy streets - I have to be there for the emergency "just looking" customers.

It is all worth it because I am on straight commission so along with risking my vehicle and possibly my well beain at least I know that my hourly average pay is dropping like a rock on Jupiter.

Still looking for intelligent life out there in management - no luck so far.

Love ya,

Sally

We got like, 3 to 4 feet here with snowdrifts around 6 feet. The double blizzard shut down school all week and there's even more snow coming from monday to tuesday. So much good from this and so much bad (I was close to killing all of my friends because I was stuck with them since friday. >_>)

We got about 7 or so inches of snow here. I know that doesn't sound like much to most of you from the north, but for us, it's a lot. We never get snow here. It was a lot of fun and I really love to watch it, but I'm also glad when it's gone.

120 miles farther south - we got snow but it didn't stick - awwwww

But as I had to drive in it I was glad we did not have ice! Here they have no way to deal with icy roads as they are so rare!

Global Warming has given us some SUPER COLD weather - NEVER snows - well - does now!

I completely understand the feeling. It’s much like watch a kettle come to boil. Looking back the changes were much like that boiling kettle…the less anticipation, the faster the results seem to have come or became noticeable to me. I do have to say that there was sort of an immediate placebo effect in just the fact that I knew I was finally making it real and that the process had begun. I was immediately at peace with my decision which up until that point I kept second guessing all the negative possibilities it might create. Almost 6 years in, I wouldn’t change my path in any way.   And a big congratulations for being able to make that leap toward authenticity. That is a huge milestone!   Best of luck on your journey, Susan R🌷

I'm not sure that's quite true.  If it was done by private entities?  Like most landfills here are privately owned, as are power plants.  I can't see a reason they couldn't be combined.    Right now, garbage companies in my area harvest the methane produced by the landfill to run their trucks.  The put all sorts of pipes in among the layers of the landfill to collect it.  Compressed natural gas (CNG) can be used with only minor modifications to existing engines, and many truck stops are adding CNG pumps as some fleets transition to it.    A fuel's usefulness is often measured in BTU's per gallon.  CNG has approximately the same BTUs as diesel or gasoline (138,000 or so.)  Pure ethanol and E85 have much less - like 76,000 BTUs.

Well, after a week on HRT, as many would probably have predicted, I've noticed exactly zero mental or physical changes. Patience appears to be the key here as hard as that will be after finally getting my transition moving. Guess I just need to sit back and enjoy the ride. Hope that my first blood tests after two months will show hormone levels moved acceptively.

A therapist appt is a great place to dress femme, If you want to!   It also sounds like a great safe venue to speak softer and more feminine, if that’s where you want to go.     Not sure the rules now.  But if you’re seeking HRT you might have to show them something to convince the money system that your case is medically necessary.  Obvious feminine clothes and mannerisms displayed by a human assigned male at birth (perhaps this is you?)  could be check marks towards them pushing your case through.     Please be whatever brings you love for who you are.   I have pursued this all the way through obstacles, mistakes, humiliation, and pain. And I  am so so so grateful  Hugs 😊 🌈🌈

Puzzled.  My United Healthcare Medical Advantage DOES cover gender affirming surgeries.  The HARD part is finding a surgeon that's in-network.  If the surgeon is out of network, the coverage is 40%/60% (they pay 60%).    Sadly, the surgeon I'd like to have, Dr Russell Sassani, in south Florida, is out-of-network and requires full payment prior to surgery.  I'm certain that there have been insurance issues for him and others, in the past.  Most GOOD surgeons for trans surgeries don't submit insurance, though they WILL help you with the codes, etc.  Actually, he does accept some regular insurance and original Medicare.     Anyway, I hope you were able to get your surgery or at least closer to being able to do so.

Welcome Madelyn, glad you are here and best wishes on your journey!!   I started HRT about two months ago... Had my initial appointment in December... Other than a bra underneath my clothes, I likely didn't look feminine at all ... I was nervous as heck but the doc put me at ease...   Just be yourself... do what feels comfortable for you ... The pace is up to you... Remember, you are one of a kind and have inestimable worth...    EasyE

I have been creating a space to be expressive. It's def not completed yet, I have loads of ideas still. Thinking about re-painting, maybe a light pastel purple or light pink, with a satin gloss. Honestly I'm hung on which would look best. Leave a comment if you think it would look better pink or purple. This area is a combination Man-Cave / She Shack. This is my sacred space, I think it's coming out well so far. I love this room, it inspires my creativity. Tho, I think there's not much man left in the cave lol.

Then there is how FDR is revered, and the ridiculous reluctance of the left to ever say anything negative about Biden.  It destroys their credibility.  Obsessed with Trump, they ignore how much worse Biden is.

The title of this thread is highly offensive.

Oh…. Now I get what the transgender agenda is.  I missed it.   I just didn't realize he was running again.   Silly me.   I'm going to quit now.  I've already been an ass
