I Wondered If

Well it's finally happened, I had to go get some bobby pins today. The sides of my hair are finally long enough that their favorite place to end up was in my eyes. This was annoying enough at the best of times but when I was driving no way so its time to pin it back so that cannot happen. Its a small thing but one more step on the road.

Eight months from off the ears and off the collar to nearly shoulder length in the back and the sides at my jaw bone, I want it shoulder length all the way round before I'm done.

Hey, Joanna...your hair sounds as if it's getting to be a good length! COOL!

I use bobby pins, too...keeps the stragglers out of my eyes (and food)...

Shoulder length will look good on you!

HUGGS!

Congrats on another small step for you. Next step is shoulder length hair and then beyond that depending on the hair style you are going for. I started letting my hair grow out and it is in the not long enough stage in the back to control it stage. It is curling up like always. That is why in guy mode I always kept it short. Know I have something to grow it out for. :D

Ya know I wanted it long back in the 70's but it wouldnt grow... guess it was too much T in my system

Joanna.....

Back in the early 70's I let my hair grow...it got to be about 18" in the first two years....

It hasn't grown an inch more in the last 40 years.....

What's with that?

I have no idea how hair grows and why it does so much better for some than others but I do know that your hair and nails parallel each other because it is the same material.

My hair went from off the collar in June to well beyond shoulder length all of the way around and my nails are very long and strong.

Those pictures in Memphis in my gallery showed my hair just three months after the short cut.

Love ya,

Sally

Sister, Nails???? Lets not even go there, I think even with sally hansen on them the only way im going to get good nails is to pay a salon for them.

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
