Packers And Skinny Jeans

Guest Miles

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm mostly a lurker, far enough in my transition that I don't need passing advice or coming out advice.

But I have started packing more often... bought my packer over a year ago,

but only starting packing consistently since I've been on T (right now I'm over 7 months.)

Anywho, I wear almost exclusively skinny jeans from Hottopic, and I absolutely LOVE

the look of my packer in my skinny jeans. I feel like I look so sexy. xD

I used to be nervous that people would ask or mention it, and I didn't want to have

to explain myself, but I realized if other guys are allowed to emphasize their package,

why not me?! So I've been packing a lot, to the point where I feel awkward not packing.

(The only thing is sometimes it's weird to sleep in, just because if I'm sleeping shirtless I

sleep on my stomach.)

SO, that's all!!!! Anyone else have packing stories??

-Miles

I don't pack T_____T

I wear skinny jeans ALL THE TIME and I want to soooooooooooooooooooooooo bad but....

1) Awkward with friends (I just gain a bulge, they know I'm trans but some are mean about it)

2) Dad comes with me to college ( he knows I'm trans but he choose to not use male nouns so still weird)

3) I use socks....

BUT! When I'm alone at home I would but on a pair of skinny jeans and pack and feel so HOT~ <3 LIKE UGH~! I'M A SEXY MAN~ lol

Lately, especially since I started T, I've been more conscious of my lack of a bulge down there... I know with the next paycheck I get, a packer will be in order. :) I've packed a couple times with a sock, and it helped with the dysphoria, but still didn't feel quite right. Even so, I feel like I look better when I have something down there, ESPECIALLY in jeans. My jeans aren't tight, they're just straight legs, but they fit well enough to tell whether or not I have the proper bulge. -- So yeah, I completely get it.

Yeah, I always use a harness.

Try checking out tranzwear, if you havent already. They are great for packing and keep it all in place and natural looking. no harness needed.

If my behind wasn't so emphisised by skinnys I would do that all the time, not least because I love skinnys and I have two really good pairs... Blows that I feel I can't wear them until later in transition.

One of them it bright pink with leapord spots

Judge all you like, you know I'll look gooood... B)

I can't wait to get a packer. Right now I'm using socks like Alex basically because I'm having some of the same problems he is.

1. Parents know that I'm trans but don't exactly accept it. I feel like I have to even hide going to the men's restroom around them.

2. They still call me by my birth name so it's a little embarassing out in public when I'm "dressed".

3. Friends know, but I've known them so long that it would just be weird. I guess I just need to be bolder. Maybe once I get a real packer, I'll experiment more.

I prefer slim-fitting boot cut jeans. (In fact, I actually prefer flares, which are difficult to find for guys, probably one thing I'll actually miss about being a "girl" is the cuts on jeans... lol. But I guess slim-fitting boot cut for guys is pretty similar. I like the rocker look. B) )

Anywho, I haven't started packing yet but want to start soon, can't wait to where slim-fitting, low-rise jeans with a bulge where it belongs. :D

I sadly am packerless right now. I do use a sock though since it just makes me feel better. I have a pair of skinny jeans that still fit me and I wear them with a suit jacket in order to hide my hips. Once I lose weight I'll have more skinny jeans of mine I can wear. ^.^

yeah, it's really easy to do it yourself. i used underwear waistband for the one that goes around the waist, and actually panty hose for the other part... if you use elastic for the other part, you run the risk of literally castrating yourself

and i just tied the panty hose in knots to the waistband! it took about five minutes.

I am working on a solo music project and I decided a few years ago I wanted to do female lead vocals. I’ve played instrumental music most of my life and sung as a male, mostly backup and harmony though, but very little lead. I never liked my male voice. People always clocked me as female on the phone so I’ve always had a more feminine voice. A little over two years ago I started training my female voice to sing and it has been a lot of fun, though I’m still not where I want to be. Consistency is my biggest challenge.    I try to make practice fun or I don’t stick with it. So I do a lot of singing along with my favorite cover songs…I use a vocal fader, and practice with a microphone, and often just record the blend with my phone to evaluate where I’m at and see what I need to work on. If possible I find karaoke mixes on YouTube where the lead vocal is removed and sing along to that.   I’m not sure I can offer much advice, I just do a lot of listening back and adjusting my technique and practicing until I like how I sound. Just a lot of practice. It will probably take longer than you hope to get where you want to be :) High notes will be challenging but every singer has to build up the muscles and technique and breath support and stretch the vocal chords and then their range will expand. My higher notes are in tune, but often sound strained, probably because they are. Some of that is tensing up in anticipation which I need to train myself out of doing.    I think “trans voice lessons” on YouTube is one of the best channels for tips and theory. Once you’ve found your singing voice and have that relatively consistent, pretty much it’s just working on technique, styling, articulation, range, like any singer would.

I sometimes look too critically when I look in mirrors. If I’m presenting as male, I think I look too feminine. If I am presenting female then I think I look too masculine. It’s very irritating! Sometimes I think I get it down right. I guess everybody has their good and bad hair days and such, though.

https://www.hrc.org/news/reyna-hernandez-latina-trans-woman-salon-owner-and-vibrant-spirit-killed-in-washington-state   This case is unusual, in that the victim was murdered in the U.S. and her body driven all the way to Mexico, presumably to hide evidence and confuse the authorities.    May Reyna rest in peace, and her vicious killer convicted and sentenced to a very long term behind bars.   Carolyn Marie

I cooked a breaded bone-in pork chop (seared in iron skillet then into the oven) an artichoke (w/mayo) and a frozen mac n' cheese that claimed it was "The Best Mac n' Cheese" ... and it was actually pretty good.

I will keep your sister in my prayers, @Davie. The insurance thing, that will work out in time. Bureaucracy is annoying, but adds fuel to the fire when you're already upset about another matter. Yes, "wait and pray". Bless you both.
    • Davie
Not so good today. My sister is in the ER with a stroke. Also, my insurance is screwed up somehow, so I'm being Charged $300 for a simple checkup. I've had to cancel it until it's worked out. But mainly I wait to hear about my dear and supportive sister in the ER. And wait and pray. And pray.
