A Shoe Victory

Hello, dear ones!

Excuse the name change, I thought it time to lose the modifier as most of y'all know me as Gin at this point.

So I've been dealing with the problem of big feet=very expensive shoes and I finally went on ebay to see what I could see. Well, I found a lot of size 13 womens shoes just waiting to be bid on. At first, I thought I was going to get a steal at a few dollars. But over the course of a couple of days, I fended off a number of other bidders and finally came away with two pairs of boots and four pairs of shoes for 43 dollars + shipping. Not too bad. Now we have to wait and see what actually fits. Should any pair not work out, I thought I would donate them to some other needy lady here at Laura's who might be in need of a large pair of shoes (or boots). I'll keep you posted.

I bought about 20 pairs of shoes, seperate dealers, on ebay and except for 'Pleasers" brand they fit fine. If you see that brand - run! They are at least two sizes too small and too narrow and WONT take them back.

Also, a pair of slides were too big - so its not a bad deal. Blind buying has its dangers. But some of the shoes were very inexpensive!.

My size? 12 W or 13M - hint hint

I read your warning about Pleasers before, so I stayed away from those. These all look to be of a nice style and quality. I will definitely keep you in mind, my dear, should my feet prove too large for any of these

Well my feet must be weird or perhaps I just got lucky.

But I bought a pair of Pleaser 5" platforms and they fit just fine.

Though uncomfortable at first, once they got broken in they're comfortable now.

Figures though, the one time I could have used a man to break in a pair of shoes for me and no one was around.

Maybe next time.

Hi Gin,,,,read somewhere womens feet,,along with the rest of em ( )

are getting bigger. I certainly have noticed in shoe stores theres plenty of

larger sizes/styles available . I am a 7,, euro size 40 so dont have huge

difficulties looking re shoes. Whats the fashion in the USA Hun ????,,this

side its VERY high heels , dont like those . luv,viv
