Bigots Hide Out In Bathrooms To Videotape Transwomen Going There

Mass Resistance, an utterly insane anti-LGBT hate group, hung out at First Event, a transgender conference in Massachusetts done by the Tiffany Club, went around videotaping people and pointing out the outfits of transwomen. This is absurd in itself but they really took the cake when they went to the toilets and started pointing out the transwomen in there. I think Zinnia Jones pretty much

in this. By the way, the transgender mannequins actually were two male mannequins with unusually large, but not exactly breastlike, pecs. Admittedly they were on display for Boston Pride but they did not look really different from most male mannequins.

Oh, and they also made a big deal of their height and did not blur out any of the faces.

Oh my serious God!

What in heaven's name is their problem...?

I'm afraid that If I had attended that affair and saw someone filming me going into or out of the restroom...I'd have them arrested!

OOoooohhhhh...That REALLY makes me mad!

Even after a year HRT and my anger has subsided, I'm afraid that I'd get confrontational on that idiot!

DANG (and that's putting it mildly!)

Well in that case it leaves them in the ineteresting position of facing many a law suit now. I'm not sure of the laws in the US, but here in Australia I can photograph ANYONE or ANYTHING from public property. But the moment I'm on PRIVATE property, I must have the permission of the lands owner, and the subjects.

Well, these people have avoided getting a law suit quite amazingly. I remember when they launched a phone calling campaign to try to force a fourth grade transman to live as a girl. At least they had the decency to not give out his name but they still bullied a grade schooler. They have told monumental lies. For example, after a transman crashed the subway car he was driving, they first made a big deal out of his gender orientation and then claimed that there is affirmative action for transsexuals. They also published photos of a BAGLY prom without faces blurred out so if there was a closeted kid photographed they would have been outed. There is a high chance that some of the transwomen they videotaped were closeted since I know that many of the women I met there were. I have to say though, if they get a law suit, they might successfully use the insanity defense.

It's not like that in the United States. You have to have consent for the person to be recorded in any fashion if it is going to be broadcasted and they are the subject or part of the subject of the video even if they are in the public, especially so if they are private citizens and not public figures. The only exception is if the video isn't focusing on that person and they just happen to walk by and end up on film for a few seconds; thats plain sight.

In the United States private or public building going into a bathroom and recording it is highly illegal. Also something they may not have considered is if there is even one under age person going to the bathroom on their video they also have then created and distributed child pornography and will be in for it when the law catches up to them.

I think I am going to send the link of the video to the police department in their jurisdiction and wait for the drama about how they became sex offenders to unfold in the news. :D

I don't think the insanity defense would cut it because their actions are too calculated and thought out. Insanity is more of a spur of the moment thing you do. Unfortunately for them being sociopaths isn't a defense.

It always amazes me the lengths that some people will go to just to prove what bigoted idiots they are.

The taping was illegal from start to finish and they are out to protect "descent, law abiding citizens"

May I ask who is going to protect them from this bunch?

Yesterday the gays, today the transgendered, tomorrow the blue-eyed - hate never slumbers.

Love ya,

I think it's against most state laws to take any kind of photography in a public restroom. On top of that if you were to do that to me I think my violent side would come out long enough to hurt the fools and destroy there camera's. I know as a photographer I've always taken utmost care to make sure my gear was capped and off whenever I had to use the public facilities.

Take Care

Oh. My. God. People can be so ridiculous.

That video pretty much said everything I have to say about this. I am amazed by the intolerance of some people.

This just goes to show how far we have to go in educating people. Yes, they are foolish and this was a pointless show of an irrational fear, but it highlights the need for us to get out and talk about the reality of human differences. :)

Sounds like a good idea!

And thanks for clarifying that. I'll have to remember to be more careful if I ever make it to the USA.

I'm not familiar with Mass Resistance, but I'll speculate for a moment that they have gained a following. The reason why people listen to groups like this is because said people have already made up their minds about a subject. Mass Resistance isn't convincing the "unbelievers," they are just fueling the hate for those that already were against us. I'm relatively positive that if you went out on the street and started asking people if they had heard of Mass Resistance, you'd get a resounding "no." I guess to a lesser extent they are like Westboro Baptist. Most people don't care for them, but a small following does hang on every word spoken.

It's annoying and embarrassing to be videotaped against your will, but hopefully legal action will be taken, if possible. Regardless, I don't think Mass Resistance will ever become a large enough threat to worry about. They appear to be the type of group that employs underhanded tactics to get their story, which the general public may not appreciate. That's exactly why the majority are against Westboro Baptist. No one appreciates his or her son's or daughter's funeral picketed.

Funerals are private events I'm surprised Mass Resistance wasn't arrested for trespassing, disturbing the peace, and cited for noise level violations. I know it's not a game but you have to use the system against them. These people are so wrapped up in hate and anger that they don't think and often break enough laws to allow for them to be arrested as long as the other party doesn't lose their cool and do something that they can use to justify their actions.

I was gonna leave them a really juicy comment on their video but as soon as I hit send it said "comment pending approval". How disappointing. =/ Oh well, at least they're gonna know a piece of my mind.

Well, I probably would hear a lot of yeses. Mass Resistance is pretty well known in Massachusetts. They have had some success, such as their campaign where they reminded everyone that transsexuals go to the bathroom. This managed to defeat a bill that would have given transsexuals equal opportunity in employment. They act crazy, but it seems to work for even people who are on the fence.

I wasn't aware of their presence in Massachusetts. I mistakenly assumed that since I hadn't heard of them they weren't much of a threat. Maybe not on a national level at least, kind of like the Mormon vote only influences the western states.

I think I would have made them eat those cameras. Either that or a swirly.

Sorry- mean side of me talking.

happy trans birthday! I can't speak personally on the subject, but I hope hormones bring you the changes you're looking for <3

That’s super healthy, to see that something that becomes common has less effect on you and that you are able to decipher these feelings.   Sadly, this trend tends to only deaden good feelings as we tend not to let bad feelings attenuate the same way.   I have noticed less euphoria, but still feel the dysphorias that I have. Sometimes the good sneaks in and reminds me, but often time it’s just me seeing myself in the mirror and being comfortable about what I see when embracing my realized self. I may not get the same buzz I once did, but I don’t feel incongruous when looking at a more “drab” reflection.    Wishing you strength, you are amazing!

Congratulations! and Happy Trans Birthday @LittleSam! That is such a BIG milestone.  I can still remember walking out of my clinic with my first HRT presciption.  I was on Cloud-9.  Wishing you all the best in the start of your new Journey!

Meet him at the being good to others part of Christianity. At the heart of it, there are excellent tenets of the faith. Those that condemn are judging, Jesus would have us be selfless; stone casting and all that. Are you a good person? Are you putting good into the world? If your gender is an issue for God, let God judge. In the mortal realm, let your actions be heard.

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.

When I first started figuring things out, I got a lot more euphoria. Every time a friend would use he/they pronouns for me, I'd get this bubbly feeling, and seeing myself look masculine made me really happy. Dysphoric state felt more normal, so I guess I noticed the pain it caused me less.   Now, it's more just that my pronouns and such things feel natural, and dysphoria is a lot stronger -- I know what's natural, so experiencing the opposite is more jarring than everything. The problem is, most of my natural experiences are from friends, and I rarely get properly gendered by strangers, much less by my family. I've found myself unable to bind in months due to aches, colds,, and not wanting to risk damage.    It partially makes me want to go back to the beginning of my journey, because at least then I got full euphoria. I'm pretty sure it'll be like this until I medically transition, or at the very least get top surgery (you know all those trans dudes online with tiny chests? Not me, unfortunately). It's a bit depressing, but at least I know that, eventually, there's a way out of this.

As for getting a button-up/formal pants suit, you can try to talk to her more -- Cis women in tuxes have worn tuxes in recent years, after all, (for example, Zendaya) so it can still be a relatively safe topic. For jumpsuits, I'd recommend going with a simple one with a blazer, if you can -- this'll make it look overall more masculine. There's a lot of good brands, but going for one without a lot of extra glitz on it will make it look less feminine under a blazer. I don't know many specific brands though since I usually just get my stuff from chain stores, sorry :<   When it comes to your hair, if you can't cut it, you can look up tutorials on fluffing it up instead. If you can pull it off, it can look a lot shorter and more androgynous instead!
