Can't Choose A Surgeon

I know a lot of postops,with a extensive background dealing with

the work preformed by a variety of surgeons.Some healed quickly,

able to get on with life post operative within six weeks.Others,due

to a more complicated surgery,took up to six months to fully heal.

Like anything,results may vary.But each is very happy with life as

a whole woman.

I have my surgery letter accepted and on file with Dr. Preecha Tiewtranon

in Bangkok...

Hopefully in the next 18-24 months I'l be able to go...

And I agree...SRS is a crap shoot with any surgeon...Mine has preformed over 500 SRS.

Must be doing something right...

I'm also at a deficit because of my age and probably longer healing times..

But I've read of ladies getting SRS at 65-75 years old (I'm 60)

The price is right and I love Thailand....

I've been the half a dozen times and I find it fascinating and friendly!

If things were just a bit different I'd go there to live!

I hope that we all get what we need to be complete....

In all trans sites and different forums, there can be negative

things said about any surgeon. Including Bowers,Metzler,

and Brevard. But for every dissatisified woman,there are

a line of those who fully support their work, and happily

consider themselves lucky graduates of that surgeon.

Even Suporn has his detractors. It is a roll of the dice

each time one of us is lying on that table,trusting in the

skills of our surgeon of choice, that all will turn out like

we have hoped and prayed for for so long.

You can have serious complications even the best surgeons. Most patients forget that the body can simply reject a skin graft, a breast implant, etc. Sadly, we don’t hear enough about botched surgeries because most patients do not wish to talk about it.

I've finally made my decision. I've decided on Suporn.

It’s a good choice. In my opinion, the two best SRS surgeons in the world are in Thailand; Dr. Suporn is one of them.

Yes, please let us know. I'd like to know which insurance company covers SRS because it would be worth paying the premiums to save a lot of money on the surgery.

I'm not going to say who just yet, I don't wanna jinx it, but yes they know it's for SRS specifically. They even have their own set of regulations I had to go through. (Basically the same as any surgeon would require. (I had to prove I had been at least 1 year RLT, at least 6 months on hormones and provide two therapist letters). All that just to the insurance company. They've even assigned me a special case worker to handle everything. She's a doll!

I PMed you already, but it wouldnt let me reply back. My former therapist has him and had a very bad result and difficult time resinding either an operation to fix it or to get $ out of him to correct it here in the US. She is in her mid-50's and i know for a fact she is not lying. What do you want to know about me?? I am post op have had all the work done. Right now i am having a few issues, so i having been trying to get to some ppl that might have used Dr Meltzer, but no luck. I have done alot of research on before doing anything. It is hard to pick a dr. as said, some drs have very good results, but there is always a chance for problems. I am 43 and i do alot of cardio an weight training. I work for myself in the healthfood and supplement distribution area.
