Transsexual Protests Document Confusion

I know this story takes place in Australia. But it's hurtful to think that he is stuck in a political paper chace that has nothing to with his best interests. That being said how can it be right for any governing body to refuse to give proper paperwork to an individual who is happy with thier level of transition - or medically unable to continue?

That's really an unfortunate situation. He is caught in a Catch 22 that seems unending without new legislation. It appears the bureaucrats are in control

over there, and unfortunately, that is not uncommon even here.

Hopefully a legislator will take notice and do something constructive.

This is a very bad place to be. Im so sorry that any of us have to battle government bureaucracy in order to live happier and more complete lives. You would think that there are more important things they can do with their time and tax monies.

Ohio, Tennessee and Idaho are the only 3 states in the US that will not change the gender marker on the birth certificate, even after GRS, and i live in Ohio. After my name change i did get the name changed on my birth certificate, it looks funny seeing Paula Denise A_____ and seeing the gender marker say, in bold letters MALE, hopefully one day all the states will change the marker.
