Does anyone here actually have any androgynous friends? I sure don't. I know were kind of a huge minority, but you would think I would have at least found one person I could relate to by now...

I'm also the type of person that doesn't really care if I look angrogynous or not, I just want to look like I feel; with strong mannerisms and appearances of both male and female. There seems to be even less people out there that feel that way.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for any kind of relationship or anything, I just don't want to feel like I'm the only person out there that feels like I do...

I just want to say in closing, however, that already this place has been very supportive and helpful to me, and it's nice that I haven't been told I don't belong, like I was on a different gender support forum which shall remain nameless. Thank you everyone for being so nice and supportive...

I am so glad that you have posted this, Cherri.

There are a lot more androgynous folks than you think and they are wonderful people a couple of my closest friends here were androgynous but they have moved on and I don't hear from them very often - wonderful people with such interesting lives - I am sure you will find a number of very interesting people here.

Love ya,

Sally

NO NO NO

We want you here! You are never alone, honey, we all have those feelings, sometimes, like we are the only ones in the world!

And my androgynous best friend in the whole world? I love her like a sister! MIA

She moved on? Broke my heart... issues with her wife - she never really explained to her SO she was more than a CDer. I know its hard being both/neither/either - I was in transition for a year in that middle world. EVERYONE looked at me - thinking "what is going on with that person?" I wasn't ashamed - just overwhelmed!

I wish the world would let us be - well - WHATEVER!

And I will be your friend? I WILL - pinkie promise! And others here? We don't care what you are - we just want you to enjoy it here! And yes - I NEVER met a transsexual until I started theraphy - I mean in person of course. My therapist set up a meeting for me. It was such a revelation - THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE!

WOW

And Dee Jay and Sally and I made a date to meet im Memphis for a week. I think it changd the lives of all three of us forever! And I just met with Carolyn Marie and her familoy - they were in New Orleans on vacation! WOW...

So hang in there - take some doing sometimes.

And you BELONG here!

I don't think I know any androgynes, but if I do then they have not told me. I'd say that chances are that you have known at least a few androgynes but have not been able to pick them out because they are forced to present more masculine or feminine.

Thanks everyone.

It's becoming very obvious that this forum is the most supportive environment I have ever had the fortune of being in. I truly appreciate every kind word said, and I take it all to heart. *hugs all around*

Double answer sorry - I just looked in the files - members that I know something about - posted since the beginning of this year - list their description as ANDROGYNE in the profiles here at Laura's:

"Dakura"

Annie B

Exeter

John Doe

Nymphblossom

Scooby

Shift

Of course this is a short list, there are others.

You may want to PM one or two - Shift is a great writer, for example. They all are really good people - some natal female, some natal male.

Hope this helps

Honestly, I don't think there are absolutes, not to I think the spectrum is two dimensional. In other words, everyone's somewhere in between, up or down, etc. I'm still learning and reading and I've not experienced a whole lot that I've seen with an aware androgyne perspective, so maybe I'm just daffy. However I do think a lot of my friends would be able to identify as adnrogyne, or at least bi gender. None of them identified as such, I don't think the concept was even known to most of the people I know (for me I only just became aware of it). Chances are though I knew androgynes and perhaps even transsexuals who didn't even know themselves. Growing up in a conservative community kinda stifles challenging accepted thoughts or proper manners.

Hey Micha.

Cherri, when I first got here, I had just come out and registered as transgendered. The more that I got to know myself and reevaluate the me that I had been and was now seeing through new eyes, I realized that though I no longer wanted to be all male, neither did I wish to be all female. When I came out to my daughters, my oldest told me that she had always thought of me as being androgynous. After that, I didn't have to look at myself much longer before realizing that she was right. I'm an old car that's been on Life's Highway quite a while now. And sitting in the front seat is a boy and a girl (both of whom I've watched age) who take turns driving. Well, actually the boy has done most of the driving over the years, feeling that it wouldn't be. . .what?, right? safe? good? for the girl to drive,. And on the few occasions when he let her, she had to first dress up like him.

Anyway Cherri, we became friends here at Laura's, and you're the first Andro friend that I've ever had. I am so sorry that I've not been in touch.

Now Micha and I have been communicating and getting along real good. A few days ago, she became my friend.

Now it's up to me to be a friend to those who want me to be.

Thanks for listening

Good morning everyone,   It was our first night with our European Boxer and it went well. We got up at 05:30 let him out of the cage and went directly outside to give him a chance to go potty. It has been raining for two days and nights so the grass is soaked and nearly up to his belly. I don’t think he’s ever been outside while it’s raining or wet. I had my rain jacket on and a big brimmed hat as well as rain boots, he just stayed at my feet no matter where we went in the yard. I took him to the previous locations where out daughter’s dog had gone poo, but he just sat at my feet. Once inside and drying him off with a towel. He took a poo right there. So I gathered up his mess, and took him and his poo outside. So right now it’s dog one, trainer zero. Now that the coffee is brewed and I have a cup, he’s chewing on a toy.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Strange that I awoke from a dream dreaming about "being able to pee standing up!"   I know that sounds strange from someone AMAB, but intersex issues have always prevented that.    I wonder what made me dream like that? That was a first! 🤔

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
