I have left my married life behind after over twenty months of trial and effort to settle a marriage in trouble. Transpeople are just unlikely to keep their Significant Other unless our condition is known to them early in the relationship. So we go our own way eventually, part of that statistical probability.

I moved into the city - actually into New Orleans and do not commute anymore. Yes - some adjustment is being made...

BUT :D:D:D

I found a roommate. She is a T-Girl like me.

That is my news now... more later!

Congrats to both you and your mystery roommate.

I hope everything works out exactly as you hope it will.

You deserve a little (no, a lot of) happiness, sweet Elizabeth. As we tell people here so often, the darkest nights

are followed by sunshine. You just have to wait for the sunrise. :) I think your new day is looking pretty bright.

I'm sad that your attempts at keeping your marriage didn't work. I know what a struggle it is for both parties (I have been a part of many of these discussions over the last year and they are never fun for either of us). I am happy that you are moving forward though and hope that you find happiness in the city.

All I know is I think its hype (as in veeery cool) that you're makin a move. Its like we're readers at the begining of an exciting novel.

      As a side question, when you start E (I'm only doing E. no blockers), does T fight back? (Insert "Empire Strikes Back" theme music here, lol)   For awhile, things downstairs seemed very subdued. This week, not so much. Kind of like back to pre-E days. Just curious.   Did labs yesterday so that should tell me something when I get results...

      Had a very nice day yesterday.  It was certainly worth the drive.   Something interesting to me.  We went out to a restaurant after the regular meeting.  After the meal we were getting ready to leave.  I had an hour and a half drive ahead of me, and had drunk a good bit of tea.  I'm kinda careful where I use a restroom, and this place was full of people.  I asked one of the other girls (who all live there) if I might get in trouble.  (They all know where I live)  She just looked at me and said "This is Asheville."   I realized how nice it is to live in a place where you are not always looking over your shoulder, wondering if something is going to happen. It was a good day.

      I joined as Charlie as i left Chuck (Charles) behind.  My wife suggested Charlize as i started to make the necessary legal changes.  I don't turn my head anymore when someone says Chuck.  It took time but when the name fit it became me.   Hugs,   Charlize

      Good to read your post @Kylie.   March 2024 is not so long ago,  but a couple months can be such a difference.   What a relief.    Your responses to some of my posts the past couple years helped me to believe in success beyond obstacles.    And  helped me get through my own multiple bottom surgery situation.  Happy that you are officially done😊

Just when I think he has this potty training down, he relieves himself in the laundry room.
