Guys' Jeans Styles I'm Looking For (but Having Trouble Finding)

I actually pretty much wear flared jeans exclusively (that is, the jeans I still have that are girls' jeans.) I want to continue to wear that kinda style as a guy. But it seems what I'm looking for is only at the designer level or specialized clothing stores (like ones that sell rocker-style kinda clothing) that are also at more designer-level pricing. For example, places like Nordstrom's or Bloomingdales but not really places like Macy's or JC Penny which are much more affordable. I'm not really a preppy or metrosexual type guy outside of this jean style I like.

Anyone have any tips? Like, if I buy a regular old bootcut jean and just buy a slightly smaller size so it fits a little tighter, do you think it would look like what I'm looking for? Here's an example of what I'm looking for, but again I think this might be a designer brand:

Looks like boot cut to me. Different brands of boot cut fit differently. You'd probably just need to try some different ones on. Levi's makes slim boot. I don't do the slim fit.

<- can't contribute. Doesn't actually know one kind of jean from another. I know that some dress pants are different. But thats about all. .....Oh , and I don't like jeans that hug my hiney. Thats all. lol.

lol. I have flat butt syndrome - well, I guess it isn't a syndrome b/c I do like having it. lol. So i'm not too concerned about that.
