An Interesting Day

OK, some of you already know about my car not running well at all, my having borrowed my dad's van and having to replace the battery in it and now the air conditioner going out in my house - so now you are all up to speed on Disaster Central. (Sally's Life)

Today I had arranged to take my car to a garage where they will repair it and even give me a ride home while they work on it - perfect!

I got dressed (in male mode - yuck!) and drove my dad's van over to his house and pulled my car out of the driveway - not very easy, it died 5 times.

I parked the van in the driveway and started to the garage - the car is using only 2 or 3 of its 6 cylinders - so getting it moving from stop signs was difficult at best - about 12 blocks from the house I had to start up from a stop sign and go uphill - that was too much for the little engine that couldn't - so there I sat in the middle of the street waiting for traffic to clear so that I could back over to the curb.

I called my insurance company's Road Side Assistance number and was told 50 minutes was the fastest they could get a tow truck to me.

Now the good parts begin, I called an old friend to make arrangements for picking up the car - he is available and willing - so good news at last.

Then I noticed a man who had driven past me lived about two blocks away so he walked back to offer me the use of his cell phone - he wanted to be sure that I had been able to call someone - very nice!

The tow truck may have been one of the nicest ones I have seen around town - sparkling clean and it locks around the wheels rather than attaching to the frame or bumpers - no damage to the car.

As we were driving to the garage I got a few odd looks from the driver as a truck towing a car tends to surge a bit and - well, let's see how do I put this - my breasts were jiggling - I knew it, I could feel it but there wasn't a lot that I could do about it - so we talked and listened to his GPS system.

I am covered up to 15 miles per tow - the garage was 16.8 from where I had stopped - he said, "OK, you're good." and drove away.

I am not sure exactly what he thought I was but the older gentlemen who came up to see what we needed turned to his partner and said, "She is the one who called about the Sable."

That made me fell great - I hated to put my name on that form - I was so happy, I wanted to just sign "Sally" but I couldn't - I haven't done any of that sort of paper work yet.

He drove me home and we talked along the way about things that we remembered from when all of this area had been country and actually hunting areas.

I am here in the hot house without a car and feeling pretty good about myself - everyone's first impression was female!

I have a ride to pick it up and I will have my car fixed by tomorrow evening for work.

Now to go sit in my refrigerator for a while - I'll be back soon!

Love ya,

Sally

Oh my goodness, Sally......

See what the little word "She" can do for a suckie day?

LOL...well, it seems that somehow, everything just fell into place for you...That's great....

And I know a lot about car engines myself....Call the garage and have them check out the "Canooter valve"...that is usually the problem!

And if it's too hot in your house without the air conditioner working....put on an ankle bracelet!

No, no clothes......just an ankle bracelet....works for me!

LOVE you, Hon!

Sally,

Good news about the hot house-and you'll be much more comfortable going outside and having fun than those people who sit in chilly houses.

At least that's what we've been telling ourselves since the central air died a couple of years ago. We hit a spot where we lost all of our money-I mean really all of it-bad financial adviser, the rear end went out in the Suburban and the central heat and air went out- all in less than a month. Mostly still there actually.

No money, no ac and te Suburban is crouched uselessly in the driveway -this time it's something with the injectors.

Male I may be but all automobiles hate me and find ways to sabotage me every chance they get. You have to watch them every minute and they'll still get you.,

But the good without air conditioning thing really is true.

I don't give a ....... if it's true or not on a 100 degree day with humidity thick enough to drink but today with 70 degree temps it sounds good.

Glad there was bright spot in your day

my breasts were giggling

I confess. I chuckled when I read this.

ok, I'm calm now, :P

But I did because I "knew " it was coming. I knew the day was coming when that would happen . Suggestion for when you gotta be in the other mode? (and you won't like it cuz its hot there) snug tank shirt under whatever you have on. Cuz I gotta tell you, guys like me (and obviously he was) , with the x-ray vision....... suffice it so say, theres a mtf at my church who's still convinced she doesn't "really " need a bra and......if she knew what all I see...... if she were a natal female someone would have beeeeen said something as it is I think even cisguys who might read her are "highly uncomfortable" with how "uncensored" the show is. Remember, just like you see how not like gynecomastia they're shaped so can others. **does the decent thing and goes in another room while you "arrange" yourself

I am sorry about all your problems. At least there was a little bit of good that came out of it. Hopefully the temp drops to low 70's tonight so that you can sleep.

Love,

@KathyLauren This is how the jurors broke down the award:     Being labeled as a molester and sexual pervert can and has done that much actual damage in terms of repair of the damage through a wide variety of means including legal fees and loss of livelihood in any job or profession.  As this said the idea of "reckless disregard for the truth" means that the performer was able to show a level of damage that will affect him now and in the future.  The $900K+ figure was a matter of real evidence of the damage.

Well, it has been an interesting morning.  I stayed home from service to take care of a partner.  She's the youngest of us, and I'm usually not her first choice for affection.  But this morning she curled up in my lap right before breakfast, and told me she was feeling ill.  And then threw up on me about 30 seconds later....   I guess the smell of the food is what did it, poor thing.  On a hunch, she took a pregnancy test and.... yep.    She's been married to our husband for 10 years, and this will be her 6th, so I'm happy for her.  We took a shower and she got back in our nest to sleep some more, which is probably the best medicine of all.  Maybe she'll feel better this afternoon.

Article said $250,000 of it was "punitive."  To me, seems like the whole thing was punitive...which I don't think is appropriate at all.

Biden himself is driving that "divisive wedge."  Could have done without the anti-gun garbage in his statement....it makes it seem like all LGBTQ+ folks agree with their agenda.  Which simply isn't true, and makes life difficult (and unsafe) for those of us who prefer to live in rural (and non-Democrat) areas.  Pride month would be happier for many (and more socially accepted) if it could somehow be separated from ancillary political issues.

I haven't seen the ruling, but it is unlikely that the entire amount was for actual damages.  The majority was likely punitive, as it should be.

Unless somehow this caused a million dollars worth of damage to somebody's livelihood or life, the amount of this judgement seems excessive.  Not something I would call "uplifting" or anything to be pleased about.

You do have what are called Receptor Cells in your body, that take the T or E and actually put them to work structuring your body.  I learned about this from a genetics study being done through the University Of California that I took part in through a Transgender Conference I attended.  Turned out  that my actual T receptor cells had some extra bits of protein in their make-up that they knew inhibited certain (unknown specifically) functions of the hormones.  My Endocrinologist even commented that he was not as concerned about what my blood levels were because the level in my blood stream was not doing anything, it was what the receptor cells did with it that mattered.    That said though, to me it seems like your T actually has done a pretty good job on you from what you say.  Just like my direction of MtF, males come in so many different editions, shapes, and sizes that to me you would fit in there just fine, maybe not in your personal ideal of masculinity, but you seem to fit in the box pretty well from what you are saying.  I  would get back with your Gender Therapist for a bit to get help on self acceptance of where you are.

Good morning everyone,    It’s another rainy cool morning here in central Indiana so in spite of getting up at 06:30 to quickly get Parker outside to do his business, then scoop him up some kibble and fill his water bowl. We’ve been cat napping with the Smithsonian Channel streaming Arial America.    Well said @Willow about being Trans Enough.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🐛🦋

Thanks you for posting.  Is Eli your chosen name?  I'm not surprised that you have heard the complaints of MTF folks and their struggles.  We all see our own struggles as being the worst.  That being said i've known quite few trans men who have gone through a great struggle.  While our social difficulties are real i have found finding peace with myself has been every bit as hard if not harder in the long run.  That has little or nothing to do with passing.       I definitely am privileged as an educated white person in an accepting area.  I have to accept that as well.       As to HRT, the time will come if that is the path you change.  Facial hair, as well as body hair, a deep voice and slight but powerful physical changes will eventually allow you to pass.  As i waited to start hormones i found it was a time when i could start the long path towards self acceptance.  I will never be a cis woman and finding peace with that can still be a challenge for any trans person.   Hugs,   Charlize
