I've been struggling with gender for a while now, and what is most frustrating for me is knowing exactly what I am. I live my life as a male but have always found myself attracted to female clothes and having female thoughts from time to time. I find myself getting increasingly more and more jealous of seeing women, especially during the summer. I get jealous because I want to be like them. Posting all of this here is actually a huge step for me. I've never let on to anyone that I have these feelings and I don't have anyone that I can trust enough to open up to about it.

Thanks again to everyone for welcoming my to the community.

I've read a lot on this subject and many of the suggestions that I hear are to try dressing for longer and longer periods of time and even to start taking some hormones. I think I really need to do some self exploration though and figure out exactly how I feel about this but it's very difficult for me to do on my own. I don't really have any money to afford a therapist. Has anyone else been in this situation that might be able to give me some advice?
