Not to quibble, Cael, but Homo Sapiens Sapiens is the more precise term. It differentiates us from Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis, our cousins.

Sapiens Sapiens appeared around 90-140,000 years ago, while Neanderthalensis goes back as far as 600,000 years, give or take 100,000.

Those are rovious facts, needless to say. .

Sorry, not the Slitheen...the Silurians. The Slitheen are a weird criminal outfit who tried to take over the British government.
