Today the rep from the Cardiology department came over to setup my heart monitor. I have been ordered to have a heart monitor on for 30 days to make sure everything is working properly and hopefully to rule out a pacemaker. It has two units, one that has the actual wires and leads to the chest and abdomen and the other one is the base unit that sends out signals to the hospital for the techs and doctor to read. Both units are like cell phones in which I am able to take with me when I am out of the house. One of the units has like a cell phone holder that clips onto your waist or belt the other I have to put in my pocket or purse.

Did not come out to the rep but I think she might have suspected something, I was wearing a light blue feminine top, jeans, perfume, light makeup and pink lipstick. Had to take my top off in order for her to place the leads on my chest and abdomen, well....from what I have been feeling I believe my breasts have grown a little in these last 8 months of being on HRT, that might have given something away too. :-) I don't mind. She was a nice girl and took her time explaining things to me, like how many times I have to change the batteries on the unit that is on my waist and when to change the pads on the leads. I can say this, this afternoon was better than my morning.

Good luck, Suzie! I hope the monitor bears positive results. 8 months? I'm sure there was just a little something for the tech to notice :D

Suzie I hope everything comes back positive for you after the 30 days are up.

I wish I could have seen the girls face when you lifted up your shirt and she noticed the girls staring at her. :o:lol:

And, oddly enough, I stopped at the store on my way home from work last night and saw someone wearing a rig just like you described..

It didn't seem too unweildy...

The monitor will ne a nuisance but uit is always good to know for sure.

I hope it all goes well and look forward to future updates.

I can't say myself-and really wouldn't want to-but have heard that HRT can sneak up on you. And then one day it's all mam's !:)

      What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
