I just had my first go at it yesterday in over 10 years. I really liked what I had yesterday and will probably give it another try.

I guess I let a couple of bad experiences get to me and thought I didn't like any of it.

.

That's a little vague, Hon...

Asia spans from Saudi Arabia to Japan....

I love all Chinese food..

I can't stand curry...

Thai is great, but, most often too hot for this girl...'

I won't eat a leg yanked off a cow...therefore I don't eat uncooked seafod (Sushi)

I once traveled all the way to Thailand and had a steak and green beans.....I got laughed at by my mates...

Don't eat cous'cous'...I like to use silverware...

Donna Jean does not love all Chinese food - trust me Kung Pow anything is off of her list!

I however love spicy foods so I include the Kung Pow, the black peppered and the spicy garlic.

Thai food, I love it!

Not so much into curry and I too like to use utensils when I eat.

As to raw anything other than vegetables - Fire was one of our earliest and greatest discoveries!

I like my squid fried or dried but not clinging to the plate.

Love ya,

Sally

Having a flashblack...

In Niagara Falls, Canada for the 19th birthday of one of my friends. We go into a Chinese restaurant owned by an Italian man with a Chinese cook, neither speaks English or the same language as one another. Yes, it was as horrible as it possibly could be without being unsafe - others in the group liked it, I had to get drunk to keep it down...

Back to present....Szchehuan is yummy!

I love most Asian food but not too hot.

My brother-in-law is Japanese and has introduced to Japanese foods-I like everything except sashimi-which most people think is sushi-sashimi is raw fish. Sushi is just small foods and vegetables-like avacado, wrapped in rice and nori-dried seaweed. I can't stand raw seafood but really like some sushi. I can't eat much becaus of an allergy to iodine. Tempura is heavenly and I coud eat miso soup and fried tofu all day. And Japanese curry and noodles. You should see how much trouble I have deciding at a Japanese resturaunt. Then there is tepanyaki with the knife tricks, the flaming volcanoes and griled foor. My brother i law feels it's not authentic because it is only about 65 years old!

Chinese food is also a favorite. We go to a buffet for our birthdays, etc so I don't have to decide. I can cook most Chinese dishes.

And like Thai and Vietnamese -but have to watch it because I don't like hot.

Indian is so different and great too-I LOVE anything w/ lamb and have done some Indian cooking too.

Now I'm hungry and since I can't get any of those foods ere I'm going to have to settle for making fried rice and a stir fry w/ egg foo yung!

Growing up, eating Asian food meant having La Choy or Chun King chow mein out of a can, or the greasy corner takeout.

My wife is of Chinese ancestry, and she introduced me to authentic Asian "cuisine," and having had the good stuff, I can no longer abide the bland American version. I love just about everything; Thai, Korean (except kimchee), Chinese, Vietnamese, and Filipino. Yum. Just hold the whole steamed fish and the geoduck, if you please. :P

Isn't that Korean sauerkraut?

Bury it in a pot in the ground?

Yup-with a double helping of fire added

I heard it isn't authentic if you can still talk after eating it
