Ok I Am Confused

Hey lovely people

I went last night to the dollar store and walked around it looking for a few things for supper, *mine has food also*.

Anyhow I ended up buying about 12 dollars of makeup *along with the food*. No clue what they do or are, But I thought I'd start to try to learn this stuff.

Well everything was fine until my wife found the receipt. She was really upset. I thought great she is angry that I used some of our limited funds for my *thing* or *issue*.

SURPRISE!

Nope she said that SHE wanted to come with me to buy my makeup *HUH?* but but I didn't think you wanted anything to do with me?

She said that she won't have me looking like a clown, if I want to do dressup, I need to have the right equipment. uh....ok?

So she said the colors I picked out won't work for me but she will see what she can do. So.... not sure where this will leave us... but it should be better. right?

Sometimes the people close to us can really surprise us in a good way. My wife is the same. She has been training me how to buy and apply the right kinds of make-up. We don't have the years of experience and training our wives do in this area and they are a wonderful resource. If they want to be involved, how much better does it get for us?

LOL...Honey...that's EXACTLY what my wife said to me...

I came into the house and she had a card table set up in the living room with her/my stuff on it...

We went through it all step by step...I learned a TON!

That may be the start of a great new bonding. When someone shows you how to do makeup it is a very personal thing.

And it feels like a positive shift in the relationship. If she is beginning to help you be yourself it will be something shared between and her the real woman you are. Even if she may not realize it yet.

And it WILL be a help. Teenage (and preteen) girls experiment with makeup for years before they get it right. And getting it right makes all the difference.
