Binding?

So...anyone have experience with binding large monsters? No matter what I dress like, I don't pass. Losing a little weight is going to help in that department. Unfortunately, I tend to carry extra weight in the hips and posterior. Not cool. Anyway, the monsters are an even worse problem because people take one look at them and know instantly. These things are DD's. I hate them and my lifelong dream is to be rid of them. Right now I am using a really tight sports bra to suppress them, but it doesn't do much. I'd get a binder, but I just don't believe that these things will flatten out much more than they are. Ugh...I hate them for so many reasons. :banghead:

I got some pretty big ones myself, and ACE bandages work better than the binder I used to have, but they hurt and fall down.

My binder, I cut in half. It made me too hot all the time, and it did nothing.

No matter what, you won't have a completely flat chest until surgery (if you decide to get surgery) so just find a really, REALLY good binder.

Hope I was helpful.

Mine are not DDs but large Cs and I can relate to the things not being flat enough. What I would try if mine were larger would be a good frog bra covered by an underworks binder. I also found that the longer binders, while they don't compress as well as a good compression bra, can create a fabric line from your chest to your abs, assuming you have a gut and not nice flat abs. Kind of a fabric bridge that helps hide my chest. I know if I lose some weight I'm only a B so I plan to do that before top surgery.

The frog bra will compress, and the longer binder may help creat the illusion of continuity from your chest to your stomach.

Thanks for the tips! I do have a little gut (shrinking all the time), so the binder trick would probably work for me. Sweet!

Ah yes...I've got the frog bra. It does greatly reduce. I was hoping it would do the trick, but no luck. A binder will not be fun in the hot Florida summer. :(

I have DD's and bind pretty successfully (I have some pics in the gallery). I use the double front compression vest from Underworks. It takes some practice and patience to get into at first but for me it's worth it. I also wear a tshirt with an open button up shirt over it. Hope that helps some!

Mani,

I also have the double front compression vest that works well for my DD's; however, I find that after a hot summer day of sweating, I start to itch. Is there something that I can use to prevent everything from shifting and squishing together in the front? I'm a Civil War reenactor and wear multiple layers of clothing including a wool jacket in the summer. I've had heat exhaustion multiple times. Has anyone else had any experience with stuff shifting or similar problems? Thank you kindly.

It shifts for me, the only thing I can really do about it is go to the bathroom and put everything back into place.

I'm a D, and I tried binding for a while, but just found it way too uncomfortable, and the results weren't even that great! I jst wear baggy shirts, and avoid t-shirts, and anything that sits on the chest. I just got a job this week though, and they expect me to wear a t-shirt :( I'm worried about not passing, which I couldn't bear, because it's been so long since I havn't. I might bind again. Although I'm already struggling with the heat this summer, and the place I work is so hot anyway. I can't wait for surgery!

Thanks, Sergei. I wear a lot of t-shirts, so maybe I'll try branching out some. The t-shirt with a open button up look seems to work for me.

I know what you mean about binding and heat. I'm in the southeastern United States, which is just about the hottest, most humid place on earth. Just having to breathe the hot air in summer is enough...I can't imagine wearing a sports bra and a binder. Surgery would be awesome.

I don't have that large of a chest (a C cup), but I bind using a knitted scarf and an ace bandage. It's a little hot and itchy, but is comfortable because the scarf is soft and gives. I wear it all day with no problems. If you wrap it high enough, it doesn't roll down (at least, not on me 'cause I'm fat enough that it forms a nice crease in my armpit and stays there.) I work hard, and overheat really easily and haven't found that my method of binding has caused me to overheat that much more than I already do without it. Plus, it's cheap. You might try it. Just remember to fasten everything with those heavy-duty safety pins because just tucking the corners in won't work, nor will ace bandage clips.

I've got large Cs as well, and the Underworks compression breast works GREAT. I wore a sports bra (two at once, so double protection)- and they didn't stop bounce/flatten nearly as well as a stretched out Underworks binder does. ^^ It won't make you flat, but it'll definitely help.

I'd suggest binder. You can always try the medicine spoon thing for StP until you've got the money. ^^

T-Kingdom's where I got mine. I like their binders, they're good quality and I'll definately order again. The only issue I have with them is that their shopping cart on their website is a little difficult for the first time user. What size did you get?

I like ELF brand cosmetics, I can pick them up at JC Penny.    I wear makeup everyday, but mostly just very light makeup.

Hi Mae Be, whenever it comes to makeup, there are so many different bands to choose from. Picking out the right makeup comes with trial and error, until you find one that works for you and blends well with your skin tone, some makeup products can leave the skin feeling oily. It's a good idea to look at the labels on the makeup product to know what the creators put in the makeup, just in case skin allergies. Once you found the makeup brand, you can add it to your shopping list, good luck

To be fair I’m pretty lost when it comes to makeup technique. I’ve watched videos, but I have no idea what works for or would help my features. So I just bungle along, hoping I don’t look terrible.

There's many words to describe the same idea -- excellent, good, amazing, incredible, great, and other synonyms, for example. It's a shame that some people can't realize that the reason that so many words exist is that it's the human experience; There's a million ways to feel the same exact thing, or to express it. That includes gender. Not everyone wants to express their gender the same way, trans or no. If we try to say in order to be trans, you have to do a, b, and c, you deny all those "flavors" and "hues" that make up the human experience.   That's just my five cents, though

I also play guitar, not very well though and dabble in writing poems and songs. It is a very peaceful way to relax.        💗 Cynthia
