The nipple stuff freaks me out too! Still, from looking at videos on YouTube, it seems like the worst part of it heals up in a few weeks. I'd do anything to be rid of these tumors.

I'm still a little sore 7 weeks post-op, but every time I look in the mirror I feel like doing a happy dance. It's SO cool. T has been neat since it has lowered my voice a lot, but I really felt like I was officially a guy when the chest lumps were gone. Worth the money. Worth the pain. Worth taking 6 weeks off at the gym. I feel the happiest I've been in 10 years.

My nipples hurt now.

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention that you can't feel your nipples after surgery... the nerves all get cut, so I wouldn't worry about it too much :-)

So you can't feel your nipples at all after surgery?

not really, there's still a tiny bit of sensation left but not much....meh, small price to pay

Does any of the sensation come back? I mean, to be rid of the lumps, I could totally deal. Right now it bugs me if anything touches them...ugh...so it might be a relief. Just curious...

for me, a very small amount of sensation is still there...not very much, but still some.

It depends on what kind; if they leave the nerve stems intact you can have almost full sensation. But normally they'll reposition 'em.

I have zero sensation. They still get harder when you touch them, though, co maybe some sensation will come back.

Oh, that'd be nice. Mine seem to be oversensitive sometimes. Hurt over nothing. >_<

Hmm, I've read that it's pretty rare to lose all sensation in the nipples  It would sure be nice to keep some sensation in them

This might be an interesting poll to run... From what I've read, peoples' experiences vary a good bit.

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
