Today after getting all femmed up I looked in the mirror and noticed that my Adam’s Apple is no longer visable! Loose skin on my neck now hides this telltale. I no longer have my girlish figure and have visible creases in my face. The skin on my arms has seen better days. Looking at women around my age I don’t see much difference. As long as I don’t try to look like some younger thing I no longer see a problem passing except for my voice. I’m working on that. Any of you have anything to add as an advantage?

i think you get a lot more respect. like i think people will respect you versus someone younger who is transitioning. like no one would go "thats a man" to an elderly person who is transitioning. kind of like the whole "respect your elders" type of thing. maybe im just not making sense

As men and women age we tend to look a lot closer to each other....

Men lose the T and get some breast growth and wider hips...women's voices deepen some and they often get more hair on their bodies/face because of the loss of Estrogen...

So, the gender cues that separate younger men and women tend to start blurring...

Yeah, I don't have the skin of a 30 year old girl, and I have some lines...

We just do what we can do....

Yeah, 'act your age' is pretty much still valid today as it was 50 years ago when I first heard it. Even tho 50 is the new 40. I think if someone is trying to pass, that dressing as more than (let's say) 10 years younger will almost be a dead giveaway.

And I know exactly what you all mean by wrinkles and aging skin. What a downer.

Do any of those advertised skin lotions really work? Even for an hour?

ps, and yes, I admit, my pictures in my gallery are mostly of someone about 15 (or so ) years younger. That's another reason, Carolyn, why you'll never see my face clearly, and why I'll never go in public. And why, gosh darn it, I'm going to lose those last 5-10 pounds if it kills me. No shawl and dark blue dress with little white flowers for me.
