One suggestion as for choosing a wig. It is best to buy a human hair wig. Yeah they are more expensive but they hold up better, look more natural, and you can take them to a beauty salon to get them cleaned an styled.Huggsss

Ebay has lots of wigs if your short of cash or just want to try wearing wigs for a while. Of cause if your serious about passing its best to get human hair but I love trying different hair styles while my natural hair is growing.

I was wondering if you'd found a wig yet? I've purchased 3 different styles from Paula Young and I'm pretty satisfied with what I got. They are not intended for outdoor use since I don't go out, but I did wear one for Halloween with my costume and a teenage girl asking about my mask wanted to know if I had trouble putting it on with my hair. When I told her it was a wig, she made me prove it.

If you do look at PY and find something you like, I'd suggest you watch the site for sales. I purchased all of them for just over half price or thereabouts. And for the record, the wigs I purchased were the cheaper ones. I'm still looking for a style and with PY, if you don't like the one you get, they have a pretty good return policy if you don't remove the tags.

I tried wearing a wig which I found was not very comfortable and did not look very good, which was a rather expensive episode, especially ending up in going through, purge.

The main problem was trying to hide my hair under the wig.

So I ended up growing out my hair, and now just go to the hairdresser an having a very nice feminine hair style.

If I was bald/or balding, I would seriously consider in shaving my head so I could wear a wig with ease and not muck about having to hide the hair, and wear it full time.

I have had two wigs both of them synthetic hair. One of them I paid $75.00 for and I feel I was taken. The second I bought for $40.00 with a stand and a speciale brush. It can be styled with low temp tools, but I have never done so. I bought both in person, the first time I was in male mode, the second as a woman. It was a lot of fun going to the wig shop with my friend and tryin on all the diferent styles. After I found the on I liked I wore it out of the store. So, if you are unsure about what it is your looking for I suggest a trip to a wig shop is in order.

Some more advice for human hair wigs: Don't over wash them... I was told once a month or so...
