"lasar" Undecided

OK, I'm 7 months Hrt and figure this would be the best place to put out this question:

If I'm very 50/50 about going to my first laser appointment this coming week........

Worse case scenario: If I do one round of laser and then decide I can't go on with this, what do I end up with....

Would my face grow in splotchy (i would finish one whole round) or would it just grow in overall a bit lighter?

In other words is it an all or nothing decision or is it something I could decide each step of the way and at my own pace?

Thanks,

avirone

Avirone, unlike electrolysis, laser hair removal does its job on the entire face at each session. The need to repeat the sessions

is because different follicles are active on different months.

So each session will result in slightly thinner/less growth all over your face. If you stopped, I imagine your beard would be slightly

less dense, but I doubt the difference would be noticeable. If you stopped after 6 months, there might be a noticeable difference.

But I don't think you need worry about being splotchy. (I love that word, for some reason ;) ).

Thanks, now I just have to be a big boy, I mean big girl and go ahead with it.

One last question:

The electrologist mentioned a gray ash like film on the face for several day's.

Is it so noticeable that one would want to stay in hibernation till it recedes.

:huh::unsure:

I've never heard of that, Avi. I certainly haven't experienced anything like that. The only after effects

I've had are redness for a couple of hours, and some pimples (foliculitis).

Maybe you should ask your electrolygist not to smoke and drop her ashes on your face while treating you. :P

LOL......

I have to say...as mods here we've read thousands of posts and I've never heard of that in any form...

Please ask about that...ok?

For the thinning vs. removal via laser, my practitioner suggests two sessions for an even thinning, but I imagine that the results would vary given differing practitioners.
