I walk a path

That few can see;

And fewer

Dare to tread.

I sense,

But only dimly see;

This path can be hard

And filled with dread.

Yet joy and tragedy

Will always be

Upon any path,

That we may tread.

And yet,

I must be “me”.

For in the end,

We all are dead.

True happiness results

From being “me”;

Regardless of

Society.
