Need Some Help With Jeans

This is probably a repetitive topic, sorry about that, but those sizing charts are just confusing me more. I'm new, even to jeans from the other department. I've been wearing skinny fit in "guys" for a couple of years and wanted to make the switch. The thing is, I've noticed that sizing charts in girls from a lot of brands seem to indicate I need a larger pair than something of the size I already wear.

So there is a pair of jeans I really like on Pacsun's website that are on sale for $20, and I can't pass that up, but of course I'm an on-line shopper and I don't want to get the wrong thing. Somehow their sizing chart seems indicate you need a larger than actual measurements. I have found the same pair on eBay where the seller has actually done measurements on them. On a size 5, they were 28" waist, 29" inseam, and a 5 1/2" rise. I already wear "guy" pairs that measure that. But the Pacsun size chart says a size 5 is 26". On eBay a size 7 was measured at being 30" waist, 31" inseam... but again, the Pacsun chart says it is 28". Is there a reason the measurements don't add up to what they're selling it as?

What should I do? Go by the seller's chart, or go by actual measurements on the pants? Anyone have experience with Pacsun's Bullhead jeans?

Thank you. Any help is appreciated.

You are opening a can of worms

Most all woman's jeans stretch.

You have to also have understand that your not gonna fill up the pockets with stuff.

Most women like a nice tight fit.

I think the best way to decide if a pair of Jeans is right for you , is to try them on.

They all seem to be different somehow.

Sorry i wan't better help.

Welcome to the sizes of womens/misses/jrs. I can guarantee you will not find the same size jeans by diferent makers that fit the same. Even mens jeans can be that way, difference is, its not as noticeable because men wear them looser to begin with.

I literally can pull out 10 pairs of jeans all the same sizes and they all fit different.

I ussually wear a mid rise jean, they are the most comfy, I have sizes 0/1 to 5 some fives are just right some threes are to big, duh what the. Then you get the mom jeans and they totally fit different. You can get lucky ordering on line but its just that, luck.

My best advise is go to Goodwill, find a bunch of sizes by different makers and remember what size fits the best. Most important though is what maker fits the best then try and order those. You don't even have to buy any of them at Goodwill. I've had good luck with SO, LEI and American Eagle.

Happy hunting

LOL...yup!

That says it all....

If shopping online...at least try to get actual measurements!

My experience in buying women's jeans is just take courage and go into a women's and try on some jeans.

All the jeans that I have brought have elastic insets and fit really well (the size that have are 18 and 20 and couple of 22's for when I have my back brace on.)
