For The Transmen Out There Looking For A Good Devotional Bible

Hey, guys! I have been searching for a long time, trying to find a transgender Bible or some resource for transgender folks regarding the Bible that would speak to me personally and give me the spiritual guidance I was needing...and looking in the wrong place. I found this great devotional Bible that speaks to ME, is relevant to my life, and that is in a practical, fairly inclusive translation that is easily understood. This Bible that I discovered is the NIV New Men's Devotional Bible. It is great! At least for me, it is. I was searching so hard for something to suit my needs that I completely overlooked the obvious on that one. Hello, me? Man = Men's Devotional Bible...I know, super obvious. Anyway, if you want to know more, I would be happy to share with you. Otherwise, check out a used copy to see if you like it and if you do, you can get one fairly reasonably priced online, plus you can find it in most bookstores that carry any kind of a Bible selection at all. Hope this helps somebody!

hey thanks! I'm on google looking at one on Amazon right now. :D not going to buy it yet but think it over for a bit lol. i was thinking friday while in the bible/christian(mostly books about Amish for some reason) book section and thought "i don't want to spend money on or try reading a book written by someone who has no idea what it's like to be trans AND more importantly: written by someone who might see me as some kind of sinful deviant."

actually on 2nd thought, i won't be buying either the men's devotional bible or the new men's devotional bible since there was an author on each that i refuse to read or listen to or spend money on their words. Rick Warren was on the new one and Billy Graham was on the older one. pretty sure they've both made it clear to the world that they're not real men of God since it obviously wouldn't be safe to come out to them without being sent away out of their church for being who you are. you can't just pray that away. more like they're men of their idea of God which is "you're different than me so you're wrong." actually we're all the same once people get rid of their egos. so i will continue looking for the right kind of spiritual book.

thanks anyway for posting.
