Fashion "rules"

I've heard/read about a few fashion "rules" and I find some of them contradictory and I was wondering if that was done on purpose to really muddle people up, or if it's an unintentional side effect. For example, I'm tall for a girl at 6' and a bit, with big feet. Fashion "rules" dictate that because of my height I shouldn't wear heels, but they also state that I shouldn't wear flats because of my large feet. I know these rules aren't binding, but it's hard to find clothes that work when the advice out there is clashing worse than my wardrobe lol.

Anyone else run into these rules that seem to go against eachother?

Oh yes, here's one:

If you have a big booty, hide it.

and

If you have a big booty, wear something fitting to flaunt it.

._.

Check please!

The only fashion rule I ever followed is, "don't wear a striped shirt with plaid pants."

Anything else if fair game. :D

Bhaaa.....

Rules are made to be broken!!

Wear what you like....what flatters, what you want flattered!

Luv Kat :)

u got that right, rules are just guidelines but its hard to have fun when there are cops around for braking the guidelines when your trying to have fun.

For me, that's like the golden rule for fashion. Always, I mean ALWAYS make sure pieces of your wardrobe matches with each other.
