Over this side of the pond we've had a few days of good (ie: sunny) weather and it was so warm at the beginning of the week, I went to work in shorts, ie: showing off my (lower) legs.

Got a few comments like "Oh, Legs!" or "Oh god, he's got legs!" and then, the best of all, from a female collegue, "Ah, you're only jealous, those legs are very shapely!"

WOOt go u envy i need to shave but kinda cut my self alot i have ADHD and my hand shakes violently

Must admit I don't as a rule in guy mode, some winters I may shave the hairy legs, but in CD mode, just a case of opaque pantihose as I'm known to have hairy legs, arms etc.

The hair's a pain, ain't it? :P I avoid the shorts because I shave 'em, and I'm too afraid of people's reactions (which is funny since I wear girls' jeans instead). On that note, I've gotten complimented on the fact that I can pull off the girly jeans better than some girls :P

I used to use Nair, which left my legs feeling very soft and silky. But perhaps due to hormonal or medications that I am on, most of my body hair (below the chest) thinned out and disappeared (particularly on legs, forearms and buttocks). So much so, that my wife commented to me that my legs look very feminine. She later went out and bought my a set of lingerie from Victoria's Secret. Unfortunately, she later changed her mind about encouraging or supporting me to crossdress at home.

Too bad!.

I started epilating my entire body about 2 months ago (head down apart from my armpits which i just trim close).

I have often just worn shorts and singlets in public and rarely receive any comments. I think most people aren't very observant or are too polite to say anything. B)

I still am a bit self conscious about my lack of body hair in public sometimes, but the feeling is only fleeting and the feeling of bare skin under my clothes more than compensates :P

Two years ago I waxed my legs below the knee without thinking far enough ahead for the hair to grow back. I had gym class, and it was a requirement to wear shorts for the guys. So there I was, waxed legs and all, sitting close to a bunch of other people on bleachers before the class started. No one said anything, but I felt uncomfortable every day :P

It's no big deal for males to remove their leg hair or even their chest hair nowadays. Many professional athletes do it.

Hi, :D

You go girl! I have shaven my legs for some time now. I can't stand hair on my body anywhere but my head where I need it the most. Anytime I get a complimented like that I feel warm and fuzzy inside. I wear acrylic nails and tinted polish, the other day a girl complimented me on how nice my polish was. This made my day!

I shave my legs regularly, sometimes it is a pain since I need to shave 2 or 3 times a week to keep them smooth but it's worth it! I love having smooth clean shaven legs and they look much better in nylons.

2 or three times a week? I need to shave mine 2 times a day, lol...

Not really, but sometimes it seems like it. At least once a day to keep them smooth.

Waxing as soon as I get some free time. Seems like ever since I came out to my mother she's been come CONSTANTLY. It's probably intentional on her part...

waxing sounds good. what i like about it is appariently if its done right, you dont have to do it again for a good while. i use this veet stuff, i just put on these chemicals, and it just comes right off, way better than shaving :D but i really want to try waxing. besides how much could it hurt really :)

Hi,

waxing hurts. But it is different from person to person and also different on different parts of the body. It is also important that the person who wax you can do it realy good. I recomand not to do it allone. Go to an profesional service. The problem is the speed and the direction of hair growing. If you use hot wax, the wax is placed on the skin in the direction of the hair is growing. That mean from the root to the end of the hair. Than the paper strip is placed on the wax and it is pulled off from the end of the hair to the root. Is it done in other direction the hairs will not removed completly. You must wax again. For the pain it is important to do it very fast in one turn. If you make it to slow or you stop in the middle it is painfull.

Also the length of the hair is important. To long it hurts. To short it stays in place. The best length is about 5-10mm 1/3 of an inch. After you wax you can wait 3 weeks and than do it again. The problem is that you need this length of hair to wax them. So you will run around with hairy legs for a while.

There is one point against pain. Cognac liquer. It is the only alcohol drink I know that reduce pain feeling ability. You only need one drink and not the complete bottle ;)

I forgot. It is also important that the skin is strained. If the skin is lose, you pull the skin with the wax and than it hurt. This is important for the area around the joint like the knee.

Have fun

Nelly

unfortunatly i'm only 16. oh well

lol, since when has that stopped anyone? :P

PS: I don't drink, because when I do, I overdo. That seems like the makings of an alcoholic to me, so at 19 I'll stay away kkthx :D

well once in a while's ok =p

I've learned how to wax through experimentation. I developed my own leg wax recipe based on an internet one (made out of sugar) use my own old tshirt cloth strips, and I can get a decent job. Probably not as good as professionally done, as I miss spots/strips of hair and shave them lol.. oh well, maybe I'll get it done somewhere sometime!

Hello all,

The first time I shaved my legs I was hooked now I don't go with hair any more, ever!! I did try waxing once, HOLY!!!, and i am scared of laser precedures, so shaving is the thing, nylons slip on so much smoother.

I shave my legs about every three days. Only a couple people have ever mentioned anything. I usually tell them it is because I run and have trouble with ingrown hairs, Seems to work for me.

Late reply - but - can't help it :P

And I said enough on the Me-Me-Me... maybe one more...

I pulled out my leg hair in the aftermath of Katrina three and one half years ago - hey, it was 100 degrees and we had no power for ten days. It felt so cool, and it seemed so natural, I've kept them smooth ever since. In the past I would often shave and then cover up. Summers were miserable back then, I couldn't wear shorts.

This time I said - the heck with it. I wears shorts everywhere (two seasons here, summer and January). No one has ever said anything about it in those three and one half years - nobody seems to care if they notice. Ninety percent of what we worry about never happens. And body training men often shave to enhance their muscular development (that was a cover story - never used it)

BUT this past weekend - well... I had a chance to put on my heels. I have woman's legs now. When did that happen?

I guess changes in attitude...

A bill like this would never get through congress, even if it were allowed to be voted on.

Ha, that's funny - I swear this is the one I used to use in high school to get around school blockers and play games. 😅🤦‍♀️   Though I'd be wary of using a free VPN today, if your only intent is bypassing censorship, I guess it works. Proton VPN also has a free tier with a limited selection of countries/servers. I feel more comfortable recommending them as they actively try to fight censorship with new evolving VPN protocols, and they protect your privacy. They are also directly funded by their paying customers. So there is really no downside to using their free tier over another free VPN that may not have the same goals/values.

That sounds pretty accurate. I'm just glad I don't use Windows anymore, as I basically consider Windows itself a virus/malware. Backups can absolutely save you from some types of malware like ransomware. However it's ideal to just not get infected by having smart browsing habits. It's been said, and very accurately so, that the best antivirus is you - even the best antivirus isn't 100% accurate in detecting bad stuff, if you go out looking for that stuff or browse carelessly.   I guess if you don't care and/or don't have sensitive data on your PC, then that's fine I suppose. I personally care a lot - personal accounts, private messages, and even my very presence on this site aren't necessarily things I want to be public knowledge. 🤓🫠

Yes he is. Sorry it has taken so long. One sick kid and the other has needed my attention more than usually.
    • MaeBe
Sure is! Is he good with the kiddos?

Once again the Biden admin ignores Congress and issues a regulation that can be quickly changed. It would be much wiser if they worked a bill through Congress that became law.
    • Ashley0616
I think that is the camera on the floor. Of course the kids aren't picking up after themselves oh well. He sure is big for only being 6 months old.

@Birdie @Adrianna Danielle    @Willow    Big news today. We're moving to WA. My wife is taking a job and I am most likely losing mine, so it's adventure time. I'm supposed to be a risk-seeker (Aries, ENTP, etc.) but this is hitting every klaxon and alarm in my brain, but it's going to make my wife and kids happy and it will be a place to make new friends as me without the 45 years of binary baggage. There are tech jobs all over Seattle, which we'll be near, and it's a decent State for trans rights (I don't know how it compares to MN, which is a refuge state). So wish us luck! This could be the best thing ever or rocky as hell, who knows!
    • Ashley0616
I know the feeling. I had to replace the dishwasher, fridge, stove. The only other issues that could pop up is the washer and dryer and the microwave oh I forgot the toaster.
    • MaeBe
That's the hard part of online relationships, they really never get to see the whole you. You either have to create a persona that will carry the day until they get to see you for who you are, or be open and take the risk because it's really easy for them to disconnect because there is little to no bond.   You have to share pictures of your puppy! I am not a dog person, but I can appreciate them in jpg format! My kiddos would love to have a pet, but we're all allergic in some shape or form and my wife and I are like, "no." :D
    • Ashley0616
I'm sorry Birdie! I wished you could move to a non-stressful place.
    • Ashley0616
I love shopping for cars with my imaginary budget lol. A mustang is always fun to drive! Every time I felt down or depressed I drove it and it made me happy!
