Does Anyone Else Find Boys.. Bland When It Comes To Fashion?

A lot of boys lack fashion, or proper clothing for that matter. You can just put on a hoodie, jeans, sneakers, maybe a hat, and head out the door.

Boys tend to clothing lacks color. It's always black or dark blue.

People often tell transboys not to wear pastel, since that won't help them pass.

It seems like all of my male teachers have a smashin' fashion sense though. My current one likes to wear scarfs.. Maybe I should try that.

It appears like it's been this way for a few decades, since even in the 1800s men wore dark clothing often.

Things have changed in the working world, SK. Men are no longer restricted to white or pinstriped shirts and black or gray suits.

True, they don't wear a lot of reds and purples, but there are lots of pastel colors in men's clothing nowadays, and ties come in a huge

variety of patterns and colors. I've seen guys wear shirts, green, pink, black, and every shade of blue.

You want to be a little more flamboyant? How about suspenders, or a fedora hat, or a scarf, like you said. Do what you like.

I've been saying and thinking that for about a year now. The mens department is like a forest in winter as far as color goes. Just try to find a print pattern anywhere!

It's true that men's clothing tends to be less colorful, but I wouldn't say that makes it bland. Although it may lack the bright, vibrant shades and patterns found in the lady's department, it can still have a lot of style - just a more subtle variety. You could look for patterns in the weave, or in coloring that appeal to you; personally, I like fleur-de-lis based patterns. Also, you don't have to stick to jeans and t-shirts and hoodies; a lot of formal men's clothing has a wider variety of patterns and colors. Just look at any selection of ties - you'll see everything from basic maroon to garish, polka-dotted fluorescent purple :)
