Wow... You look really good! A lot of the things you said really seemed to just fit how I've felt, but not been able to verbalize. You have NOOO reason to be embarrassed! It was awesome!

Thought it was great. You look so feminine, and your voice definitety sounds female. You shouldn't be embarrased, don't you dare take it down. Fantastic. I'm so proud of you. Well done. xxxx

Then why the computer? glad you asked, I went to school with a slide rule after school engineers started using computers by retirement all slide rules are gone. So just text and no sound maybe a picture or two will be as far as I go.

I learned my voice control through a mixture of Andrea James' tape and CandiFLA's videos. I didn't solely use either of their techniques, but I learned a lot from them and applied things. From my personal experience, it's not about making your voice female. It's about making your own natural voice sound NOT male. It's your own voice with more lilting, and without the resonance. Leah also had a good tip when she said EMOTE. It's how women talk. Just observe the difference of how men talk and women talk in a crowded shopping area. Try to mimic it. The #1 tip is PRACTICE. You won't get it overnight. I spent 6 months every night talking into my tape recorder and playing it back while falling asleep in bed. Another tip is to not be afraid of your own voice. You might think your voice sounds male or sounds fake because you are used to your own voice. You'll never know until you actually try it on people. That's how it went for me. I guess that's part of breaking the psychological barrier.

But you should definitely watch all of CandiFLA's voice instruction videos. They helped me a lot.

A bit late in updating, but I've had the draft of the official diagnosis and have (as yet unconfirmed) an endo consultation next month.   Next to arrive will be the supporting documentation for my new passport application for my correct gender.  This will then be my official ID for all the other updates - bank, tax, payroll etc.   It just feels good to to be proactive again rather than waiting for other people to move at a leisurely pace.

I like ELF brand cosmetics, I can pick them up at JC Penny.    I wear makeup everyday, but mostly just very light makeup.

Hi Mae Be, whenever it comes to makeup, there are so many different bands to choose from. Picking out the right makeup comes with trial and error, until you find one that works for you and blends well with your skin tone, some makeup products can leave the skin feeling oily. It's a good idea to look at the labels on the makeup product to know what the creators put in the makeup, just in case skin allergies. Once you found the makeup brand, you can add it to your shopping list, good luck

To be fair I’m pretty lost when it comes to makeup technique. I’ve watched videos, but I have no idea what works for or would help my features. So I just bungle along, hoping I don’t look terrible.
