At What Point Do They Become Too Big To Hide?

guest

Recommended Posts

I'm curious at what size do the breasts become too big to hide through the various methods of hiding them? Is it possible to hide double d's and still be able to function in "boy mode" if you need to?

From what I understand, people develop at different speeds... so it is possible the chest growth and being unable to hide them could force the issue of needing to completely transition. But, what if other parts of you are not ready for that step? Such as still needing to get facial hair removed? Or all the other slower effects of hrt.

Odds are that one won't see development to DD. As to general answer it is very hard to figure. It comes down to how determined you are to hide development. Your general body shape is a factor. Certain clothing will cover better than others. I know someone who is still hiding after 15 years. Even if something shows a little people likely assume a bit of weight gain.

Some express that it forces them too, but I think it is more driven by self perceptions and a want to have the issue forced than it truely being forced.

Yes, if you don't do anything about facial hair, yes it is possible that becomes a problem. Hormones will have little effect on it. So if you wish to avoid this, it might make sense to have facial hair removal as a priority.

I completely agree. :agreed:

Facial hair and voice seem to be the two things that really need to be worked on before considering going full time. Of course, there are those lucky ones who's genes allow them to pass without too

much work. Of those folks, I am insanely envious.:lol:

I'll simply say that I am currently measured at 42C (by the nice helpful ladies at VS) and so long as I keep my shirts the button-up variety or very loose, and wear a vest, they are not apparent.

I'll also say they are still smallish for my figure.

Oh, and yes, I concur about facial hair. It's been my first and major priority and it's mostly clear now.

Problem is that facial hair costs a lot more to deal with... thousands of dollars to start working on. HRT costs a couple hundred dollars (I went to the clinic yesterday and the prices for lab tests were like 5 dollars per test...and doctors visit is like 30 dollars, so definitely do-able... and that is all without insurance).

But, all the changes from HRT can take years.. so, that is a lot of time to figure out the hair removal thing. The only possible problem is the chest growth. That seems like the biggest thing to worry about. If you are an "early bloomer", having a large chest could cause so many problems.

Haha, all the girls in my family have HUGE chests... so... :|

I know someone with C or D implants who lives full time as male.

I don't understand why someone would get implants especially that large and then live life as male.

Not necessarily. I've spent less than $700 on laser and the dark hairs have retreated to just above and below my lips. Hopefully Friday when I have another round of it, it will be the last. Then I can start the 10-20 hours of electrolysis they said I would need to clear the rest. But still, it hasn't been that much of a burden and it is so amazingly worth it. I cannot tell you the difference it makes in your self image to get rid of the beard, to be able to wear a light coat of foundation, or none at all and not worry. All the hrt in the world will do you no good if you don't attend to it.

I'm a boy with "man boobs". I used to hide them and wear loose clothes, but lately I have found I'm wearing tighter shirts that actually accent them. Its one of my first steps in transition, I think. I've actually caught people looking at them. Secretly I think this is what girls feel like when men stare. :-)

I was skinny and between a B and a C by 16 and regardless of clothing it was VERY hard to hide my bust line. I thought I was hiding but apparently I wasn't very successful. Nipples can be a BIG problem!

My personal experience needing to be in male mode for my job and being endowed with c cup breasts and large nipples is that it really is all about your self-perception and comfort level when it is apparent that you have female breasts. For me what other people may or may not think is more than offset by the blessings of having female breasts and feeling oh so good about them!

I think it really gets down to your self-perception and comfort level. I have to work in male mode and have c cup breasts and large nipples. I am sure they do show but my concern for what people may or may not think is more than offset by the self confidence and pleasure that having female breasts gives me as a transgendered woman.

I wish I could tell you at what point they are too big to hide.

All I can tell you is that from my point of view HRT was and still is the most important thing to me. Hair removal, as is any surgery, is pointless to me at this time. Let me reiterate, TO ME. Every girl approaches transitioning differently. For me, 2011 is my male mode Farwell tour. It is kind of a joke, but also kind of true. For me it is about letting the Hormones do their thing, for me to complete the coming out to family and friends and to allow myself a little time to mature as a woman before starting the process of being me permanently.

You concerns are valid, but I do not think they are something to worry about. The reason being is that you could just talk to your endocrinologist about options to slow or prevent breast growth. Or you could just speed up the process and get the hair removed ASAP. Transitioning is about flexibility and adaptability. Nothing is set in stone but should be done in your time as you become ready.

Relax, have fun because it is a crazy but enriching ride.

Double "D"s?

Hide them?

"boy mode?

Heck, If I could come up with DD's, I'd hardly wear a top at all!

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Things hit the fan today. I was reminded that "this is not a gender fluid establishment."   I had changed my preferred name and gender at the hospital on their app. My x-ray report came in with my preferred name and gender. It was not appreciated by the centre. 😬

I'm not a nutritionist but I've gone on bulking diets in the past so I can suggest a couple things to try. Foremost, food-prep stuff that you like to eat. Any 'real food' that usually sounds good to you. That way, you don't have the time-sink or hassle of cooking for every meal. You're more likely to eat if stuff if it's convenient and mostly ready. For example, I'll spend an hour or so one evening prepping burrito ingredients that will last me the next 3 nights. Then it's just a matter of microwaving the beef/beans and throwing them into a tortilla; takes 5 min.   If you need food 'on the go' often, consider prepping smoothies in advance pre-separated out into individual containers. I personally like low-no fat yogurt blended with fruit and, here's the weird part, those water flavor drops. They add sweetness without dumping in excess sugar. Insulated containers will keep them reasonably fresh non-refridgerated all day so they can even be tossed into a backpack.    Hope of those sparked some ideas!

I did get a sorry from the mechanic, saying it was all on him. The boss just said I just went by what I was shown. I didn't look at the paper work. I thought maybe you should before jumping down someones throat.   I am still in the market. Just waiting to find the right one.   Hugs, Kymmie
