My 4th Of July Weekend

I achieved one of the Holy Grails of Cross-dressing this past weekend. I went out shopping with my wife as JoAnn. It all started Friday morning. I got up, showered, and shaved my chest, legs, and arms. I proceeded to put on my favorite Pink panties, bra, forms, blue jean caprice pants, Hanes purple top, zebra slides, makeup, watch, and wig. As I walked out of the bathroom, my wife asked me if I was going to stay dressed all day. I responded by saying, “Yes”. So she goes into the bathroom to do her thing and get dressed while I went to the kitchen to make my coffee and breakfast. After breakfast, I helped my wife with the laundry. When the laundry was done, she looks at me and says, “If you’re going with me to the grocery store, then you better get your purse?” So I go get my purse, put my billfold, keys, lipstick, and cell phone in it. Then off we go the local grocery store. I have been out shopping before dressed but I have to admit that I was a little nervous going out dressed with my wife. By the time we got to the grocery store, I had calmed down. So we did our shopping, even interacted with couple of other customers, both male and female. No one looked at me twice and I even when off to other aisles by myself. We get home and put the groceries up and my wife looks at me and says, “I’m surprised, you passed very well, I must say?” I thanked her and she then said, “OK, well let’s go to Wal-Mart and do the rest of our shopping”. So off to Wal-Mart we go. Again no one seems to notice me. As we walk in, we get a “Welcome to Wal-Mart ladies” greeting. I go to get a basket and there are none. So I go outside, walk around, find a basket, and roll it back in for the wife. We found the items we needed, and then on the way to checkout, we stopped by the women’s department and browsed the sales racks. I even had a couple of pre-teen and teenage girls walk past me and not even look at me. Guess I was not on there CD-dar or they had it turned off. LOL Again a couple of times I had to go to another aisle by myself. My wife did comment to me, that I left my purse in the basket and walk out of sight of it. OPPS that is a big no-no. She then said “No harm done, since I could see it all the time you were out of sight”. I was only out of sight of a few seconds, but thats all it can take for your purse to get stolen. I will have to work on that. On the way out, my wife asked if I need to go to the bathroom as we pasted the “Ladies Room”. I said, “No”, and she said, “OK, thought I ask.” Later on I could have hit myself for passing up that opportunity but it is not like I have NOT used a public “Ladies Room” before. By this time it is after noon, so we drive up to the local Taco Bell, go in and order takeout. Got a “Welcome ladies to Taco Bell” and a “Have a nice day ladies”, as we walked out. Then back home to put up the items we bought at Wal-Mart and to eat our lunch. After lunch, I watched some TV and wife got on the computer. A little later she comes out and tells me she would like to go to the Dollar Movie and see “Made of Honor”. So about 4:30PM we set off for the Movie Theater. Walk up to the ticket booth; get our tickets and an “Enjoy your movie ladies” comment. Walk in, find the theater, and enjoyed the movie. Then it was back home for supper and around 8:00PM, I take off my wig and makeup. Change into my Pink Satin PJ’s for the rest of the evening.

All in all, it was a wonderful 4th of July. My wonderful wife was please on how well I passed and handled myself. I was pleased on how well the outings went too. I am now sure that my wife now knows I will not be an embarrassment and can handle myself. At the same time, I know my wife would not be too pleased if I did this every weekend, so I am going to limit it to the Saturday that my Tri-Ess meeting meets.

Saturday, I am dress in drab. After breakfast, my wife asked if she could come with me to my nail salon appointment. When we go there, she asked if she too could get a pedicure, manicure, and eyebrows waxed. So they set us side-by-side and we chatted with the techs and had a wonderful two hours. After lunch we did not have much to do, so we just sat around the house until it was almost time for me to get dressed for my monthly Tri-Ess meeting. I walk up to my wife and asked her is she would like to go to my meeting with me. To my surprise she says, “OK”. I got dressed first, since it takes me longer than she does. LOL. We drive to the meeting and I introduce her to everyone. We normally do not have a July meeting, since it was the day after the 4th, but we still have 18 girls and 3 SO’s attend. All enjoyed our normal pot luck dinner and we had a short business meeting, then just sat around and talked, since we did not have a program as such.

Sunday, I took my wife to the Zoo and later to dinner, to show her how much I love her and how much I appreciate her for Friday.

I count myself lucky to have a wife that at first was very against my being a CDer and then later accepting me as I am. If you have a SO’s that is understanding and accepting of yourself, then make sure you show her the same respect and love.

Being admitted into the hospital after a long ER visit. I started passing lots of blood and they are keeping me for observation.    Nurse came in to see about a condom catheter, that of course doesn't work on me. 🤣   She said, "I guess we will use incontinence supplies on you."

Yeah.  I think this is what it is about.  Since they are not transgender, nobody else could possibly be either.  I'm not sure that a cisgender person can understand being transgender.  But that hardly means that a transgender person's experience is not real - just because it is not theirs. Why is a transgendered person's experience not valid, while a cisgendered person's is?  Why should it be the cisgendered person that decides? Nobody is forcing a cis person to transition.  What I do for myself is my own business.

I've been thinking it is a matter of belief.  They simply do not believe someone can validly be transgender and should not be allowed to practice their beliefs, but should be forced to practice their belief, that is, that there is no such thing as transgender and it is all mental illness/sin/hormonal imbalance.

I am really kind of sick of everybody who is not transgender deciding on what we need and do not need in the way of procedures. They act like all of this is play acting, and we can just apply cosmetics to our entire body. It might be refreshing if someone asked us directly what services we need in order to transition. I could say more as I am frustrated, but I do not want to violate the TOS.

Good luck on selling your wife on the idea of a different car. This could be tougher than negotiating with a dealership.   My wife agreed to my taking profit out of the company to buy a used truck once we found out the 2014 F-250 I currently had with 267,244 miles on it was needing new torque converter solenoids and the DEF system is chocking up. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Duramax 4X4, with 163,000 miles. LTZ Off Road package, power mirrors, chrome step boards, rear camera, exhaust brake, and air lift bags on the rear suspension. It belonged to a friend of mine who also owned a mobile training business.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

At the other end and in our favor is Julia Serano's analysis of the Cass Report Fiasco   https://juliaserano.medium.com/the-cass-review-wpath-files-and-the-perpetual-debate-over-gender-affirming-care-8f56d0c4d0c6   Serano is a Trans Woman and a molecular biologist herself, guess whose evaluation I honor.

That's great @MaeBe hopefully the company will offer your wife a moving package with the new job position. That's how I was transferred from the St. Louis Metro area to the Indianapolis Metro area. The company covered all the moving expenses, as well as a three week stay in an extended living hotel while we chose an area to build our current home.   Good Luck and make it a happy adventure.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
