Glad to see this forum starting! I've been tinkering on a little website that I hope you'll find helpful. In particular, there's info on why transgenderism fits with Christianity well as well as the most complete listing of other online places that deal with both Christianity and transgenderism. I value feedback, so let me know what you think.

TranChristians is a good site, Ephilei. It poses a lot of questions which may challenge some of our original beliefs. That's a good thing because God always wants to do a new work in each of us. I'll post this on my blogsite.

I have been struggling with the notion that since I have been in the same church forever, that "Sister Bertha Better Than You way down front in the Amen Pew" (slightly altered but thatnks to Ray Stevens) will not accept me as Sally and I will be in search of a new place to worship where I can be accepted as me.

i am struggling with this issue as well, sally. i know that there are pro and anti transgender factions in my church, but if i came out today, i am afraid it would start a division which would make a lot more problems than just how to deal with me.

maybe it would be better if i stayed quiet... i'm good at being quiet and not causing waves...

There will come a point when just being quiet won't hide the transition and then I will have to deal with it.
