T For Ray?

Whoa...that's a sweet PC. The 20 inch monitor is SWEET too. I am wanting a dual monitor setup for my desk at school. My friend has one and I envy how she can have Excel open on one monitor and SPSS (statistics program) open on the other. I love gadgets!

I am wanting a quad core, but they are still too expensive. Here, meet the kids: Right now I have an old XP box that I use with like 2 GB of RAM and an old school 2.6GHz P4 (northwood core...not the prescott one). That computer is my baby because I put it together myself. I'm using my 26 inch LCD TV as a monitor on that one. It's basically a multimedia PC these days. My laptop is a 1.86 GHz dual core with 2 GB of RAM. It's a Sony Vaio. My dream is to build an updated system...something sweet with all the new technology that has come out since I built my last PC in 2004. You know...I want the whole shebang. I want a RAID array with like a terabyte of storage space and like dual video cards. Yeah. I'm a dork too! *cheers for dorks everywhere*

Oh...it seems this discussion isn't all about T anymore....or is it. My friends that I am out to keep saying that my love for gadgets should have been a cue all along. : )

Yes.. the fact that me and my dad can get lost between the tiny network at his house and the underside of my '89 Nissan 240sx probably could be an additional indication to the people around me that im completely a dude...amongst other things of course.. but ... whatever. many times, people see what they want to see. and that works both ways.

I used to have a Mustang GT, but sold it before I went to graduate school. Now I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee.

I was the same way with my dad... we'd get lost in shoot-em-up games, 4x4 trucks and big rigs... then I came out, and we kind of spread apart.
