Stripped of all happiness

Left for the still hearts of the dead

I am consumed by the earth in my loneliness

With blood staining the words you once said

Eternally imprisoned by such hopelessness

And deprived of the love you promised

I am trapped forever in this darkness

With a broken heart and soul from the dishonest

I looked to you for light

But all you were was my blight

I reached out to you for something right

But only further darkened my plight

I called out to you day and night

But only felt the agony of a speechless bite

I did all I could to keep your love in sight’

But you words were just lies that my heart tried to fight

Left alone with this sickness

And torn sanity from my head

I was consumed by your poisonous

With wrists slit and blood shed

Your words were filled with nothingness

Leaving me lost where you had me led

I was a fool to not see you deadliness

And now the grave has become my bed.
