The art's already on your computer?

Yes it is. I produce digital art in Photoshop. Now to get it here is the thing.

Always good to hear from you.

And thanks for being there.

if you go to an image host site like photobucket.com or flickr.com you can upload your image to there, then you link it here with the image buttony thing (since it's easiest)

Thanks, Alder. I have an account on deviant art, but this is not something I would post there. This is probably the only site where I would feel comfortable doing it, and not due to the subject but because of the quality of the piece. It is not yet truly finished.

Oh well.

Yussss! I use photobucket, an it's easy nuff. Once you create an account they give you an option to upload straight from your computer, browse your own files an all. They also give you the option to keep your images private, as in you have to have a password to see em.

http://imageshack.us/ also lets you upload, and without creating an account, but I find keeping track of my uploaded images on this site to be difficult. I prefer this one for quick uploads that aren't personal to me, so for a piece of art you truly care about and aren't ready to share on dA yet, I'd go with photoshack.

Thanks so much. Will get to it when I can.

Am now going to check out your 'genderqueer' post.

I so love that word.

Love,

So I was up all night working on a project for school, when my program crashes (around 4:15 this morning) and reverts it to the last time IT saved (mind you I HAD saved like eight times) which was around 1 in the morning. I felt abused by the muses, how dare they give me creativity that leads directly to a wall. So instead they gave me this piece. So I figured I'd share it here, then hopefully get some sleep...

....They didn't have a yawning smiley. This'll have to do. It's still pretty close...

Okay, so I finally figured out how to post photos in the gallery here. There are no 'portraits' (i.e. original art) as yet, but it does show who (what?) I was and am becoming. I guess.

Thanks Micha!

I intially took the form from a picture of Shannon Sossaman, and it developed from there, It's a fairly accurate look at my facial and body form, the only embellishment was the sexy spikey hair. Le Sigh, my curls just don't fit my wants, but I have long since learned to try and tame it. :P

Okay, I just tried to upload a self portrait (a digital painting done in Photoshop CS2) top my gallery and was told that I am not permitted to upload such a file.

Just wondered if anyone had any idea why not?

Thanks,

Cissy

what file type is it? If you saved the image as a .psd file than it will not upload...

Ah! Just like the Imagine FX site to which I belong. Everything must be jpeg. I never thought of that, but am making the change now, and shall be posting away, post haste!

Thanks so much, Alder.

I thought I'd share another quick doodle I made today.

This actually looks more like my dad when he was young than me (everything's thicker). Maybe I should work out more... I always avoided exercising before starting HRT because I'd bulk up too quickly. Now that I have low testosterone, there's no excuse.

Anyways, yeah, I like the soft but muscular look. I wish pop culture had more images like this.

"Exstatic" is an adjective that means feeling great rapture or delight. For example, "His wife gave birth to their first child, and he was ecstatic about it". Synonyms of "ecstatic" include rapturous, entranced, enthusiastic, and frenzied.

Absolutely. Being able to encourage, to help, others is so empowering. I've been helped by so many people over the years, I love being able to pay it forward.

Good morning, everyone!!   A busy day ahead for me - need to cut the grass and then pick up the clippings. The grass grows so quickly this time of year. I cut almost 7 acres so that will take up most of my day. At least I can get some sun on my legs and arms!!   Time for another cup of coffee as I catch up here.   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.

I started shaving my legs years ago - I started getting an occasional mild contact rash on my shins. That became my excuse to shave them for both me and my wife. Over time, the rash didn't expand...but my shaving did. Full legs....groin......chest......and finally my arms. Keeping the rash at bay was my excuse until I came out to my wife. Now I typically do a full shave on Sunday mornings. The hair is lighter but I just feel better with it gone - it helps with the dysphoria and dysmorphia. I will also typically do a chest touch-up mid week since I notice the growth more there.   I wish someone would invent a pill that would stop hair growth everywhere except on your head.

Good morning.   im not sure where the time went.  I had a decent nights sleep,  didn’t  tell Alexa to let me sleep another 5 minutes,  I didn’t do anything extra but it’s almost time to leave and I just got here.  Definitely only a one cup morning.    I have the overhead console out of the Ford. It needed some repairs with toothpicks and glue.  Been sitting all night t for the glue to harden. I’m always to impatient with glue but not this time.  I want it to hold. Ok the next owner won’t be able to change the lightbulbs however in my defense, the are led so they will likely still work when the car goes to the salvage yard.   gotta go. Not as much on my plate at work today but it’s always busy.   Willow

Yes, my programmer friends and I think that antivirus software is a virus.  It's constantly searching your system and slowing it down.  If you install your own OS and software on your machine, and you make backups of your personal files, then you can recover from viruses in an hour or two.  My computer is 10+ years old and is working as good as the first day I had it.   As long as my computer is doing what I want it to do, I don't care if someone is spying on my system.

If you get a ticket, always say not guilty and go to court. Much of the time, the officer will not show up, and often the district attorney or the judge will not want to take the time. They ticket harvest because most people just agree to the fine and send them a check by mail.   If you are not a commercial driver, Most states also have a ticket forgiveness program. You take a little easy Driver's Ed Course, and it doesn't go on your record or increase your insurance prices. Explore your options!
