.

I had no problem buying ankle bracelets at all....

And if one's ankle is larger, regular wrist bracelets will work, too....

Look at any Wal Mart of such...

Good luck..

I fought that same dilemma at first. Take a strong string and make it tie around your ankle, about as tight as you want an ankle bracelet to fit. cut it off and measure it. I am 10" tight and 10 1/2" inches is loose enough to dangle a bit but not get hung up on anything. There are stock 10" ankle bracelets out there, and those 'gold chain' shops can custom make them, too. Whenever you buy one, measure it to see if it is accurate in described length. If you are full time or presenting female, try it on. I did the same thing with necklaces and bracelets. I do want to caution, that after 2 years eight months on HRT my sizes changed about a half inch. So think about waiting a bit before buying expensive gold bracelets, wrist or ankle.

Greetings,

To be honest this is a problem that never even occurred to me since my ankles are only 7 1/2". Anklets tend to come in 9" and 10" lengths but they do sell extenders that are typically used to extend the length of necklaces, but they could also be used to extend an anklet just as easily. Your best bet is going to be one of those places that can make chains any length you need like Julie mentioned above. They you can get exactly the length you need.

Peace, love, and contentment,

Isabelle

Aren't bracelets are even shorter than anklets normally are?

No, not necessarily....

At first I only seemed to find tiny ankle bracelets/chains and my first ones that I wore were wrist bracelets...because they fit..

Sometimes I take the gold chain that used to be a necklace that I usually wear around my wrist and wrap it around my ankle. Some jewelry is just that versatile if it's simple enough!
