Breasts grow bigger if you're not wearing a bra?

Hi!

So this is a question that I have - would brests grow bigger if you don't wear a bra - so it's not restrained by it? It sort of would make sence, thinking about those asian girls who by tradition think small feet is beauty so they wear smaller size shoes so that the feet wouldn't grow. Maybe free of any restriction is better?

Just a thought.

Hmm not sure about that. I don't think the breasts would grow bigger unrestrained without a bra.

I think they are only their for support to keep the breast up, eg dolly parton wears bras and she still has large breasts.

If anything I think they might hang down a bit after a while without a bra. People did go bra less in the 60's and the 70's so it could cause no harm.

Binding could possibly cause trouble but I doubt they do. That would be something to ask the FTM's on Laura's

The ancient practice of binding the feet and wearing small shoes, I believe that old cultural practice ended up with deformation of the body and also causing some back problems etc too.

If you think about it, when a genetic girl reaches puberty she starts to wear bras both to start supporting her breasts and to learn how to wear them daily. If a bra would restrain the breast growth it would have that effect on young girls but it doesn't. As for the binding of feet to prevent growth, it prevents the bones from growing properly. Think about how your feet feel after a couple of hours in heels or tight shoes.

Nostros, as you are talking about bras which are designed to support rather than a binder which is designed to compress and minimize, it is really a non issue. So long as you are wearing an appropriately sized bra, there is not an issue of restriction. Bras are not like binders or even corsets. They do not alter your body shap by compressing anything, they lift and stabilize. The idea being to prevent bouncing from causing the skin in the breast area from sagging and stretching prematurely.

The things I share on this forum that I would never elsewhere. That's a compliment to the site and all of you btw. As someone who was born female-bodied, and someone who hasn't worn a bra ever, I will state that Krisina's and Elena's answers of the effects are accurate.

You want the opposite effect of what I desire. Go au naturale depending on your size. If you want a fuller apearance; I have seen the effect of a padded or push up bra. It works.
