Hi every one.

Today I feel its taking too long to get court's approval for me to buy hormones. well Its easy to buy it from black market. It's so easy. well, does it worth to use them for only 1 month?? why or why not??

I have bought some of those pills and Im going to take them. I think they are safe when I start them at low dosage. please give me your comment.

thank you.

Love, Kim

Kim hon - Are you sure you know what you bought ? Black market is only interested in the money they can extract from you. Self medicating is a dangerous path.

I do hope you reconsider, please try and see a doctor soon, I know you are frustrated.

Best wishes

Cindy -

Kim,

Why are you going to put your life in danger and also the danger of being arrested for buying black market medication?

First of all, you have no idea of dosage to take because you have not had a blood test to check for your current hormone levels.

Second, You have no idea what dosage to take to get into the female range even if you did know your levels.

Third, What kind of estrogen or anti-androgens are these? Different brands or types (pills, creams, injection, patch) require different dosage techniques.

Fourth, What is the source of these medications? How do you know they are not just sugar pills or something worse. Maybe your supplier does not like TS people and will put something harmful in them. If they are legit what is the expiration date? How do you know they are any good?

Fifth, Your health. Taking too much estrogen actually causes the body to react and produce more testosterone so it will backfire your desired results.

What is the condition of your liver function? Like a lot of drugs, medications used for HRT can have effects on your liver. Are you currently taking any medication that could cause more damage to your liver if you just start taking HRT meds? Certain anti-androgens will cause issues with potassium levels. These must be monitored to make sure your levels stay in the normal range. Failure to do this can cause heart failure.

Six - What effect will this on you getting legitimate medication after your visits with a G.T. They may refuse care if you self medicate.

You said to take them for a month. Is that how long before your appointment with your G.T. ? You will not even see any results in that amount of time. Besides if you self medicate when it is time to get prescriptions your hormone levels will already be altered so you will have had to stop them for a few months so the doctor can get a good base level for you.

The ONLY way to do HRT is under the supervision of a qualified doctor. Anything else you risk harming yourself in many ways.

You have come a long way in the past few weeks. You have been evaluated and come out to your parents. Don't give up everything you have done just to try and speed up the process. You are young. You have plenty of time to transition in a way that will make you the best person you can be.

You will also find no support on Laura's with doing your self medication. This site does not approve of any self medication and "how to" discussions about it are not allowed.

i know how frustrating it can be when getting hormones is out of your control and every day you wait seems like forever but Cindy is right.

Black market can be very harmful and will cost you dearly in money but may affect yout health.

To be honest if i had some connection to the black market i would have tried to source some T by now. i've tried hormone boosters and blockers (gives a more placebo effect) but in reality the only safe way is to get HRT prescribed by proffessionals that can monitor you and make sure you get the right dosage.

Be patient. Transitioning is a long process no matter how far you take it so do it right and don't jeopardise your future.

I'm a masculine woman. It's not about masculinity though. It's about expanding what it means to be a woman.

It never rains but it pours.  We had a dry spring, but now my garden is a swamp and my yard is a pond.  Get off the gravel road, and you'd need a hovercraft.    With nothing better to do, I'm going on a short trip with my husband tomorrow.  Since he's in management he usually doesn't do this sort of work, but whenever he does I usually go along.  And he already knows not to try staying in a hotel, because I want to sleep in the bunk in the truck.  So much more cozy.    And for a couple of days, GF can actually take care of her own kids instead of leaving them to me....

I have played clarinet, but without talent.  And while I *can* sing, I think listening to it would be an acquired taste.

Something that would help is reducing salt intake which causes the body to hold water and causes inflammation, another thing would be to add cardio to your exercise routine. Lowering your overall body fat will affect your face appearance. Hope this helps :)

Hi Sally, okay I'll head on over to your post and check out your makeup techniques.

Hey all,   It's been a while, but I blogged a whole series on makeup.  It's an eight-part series where I talk about my techniques.   Here is the link to Part 1:       Hopefully the blog series is helpful.

Oh, I can relate to that one Vicky, leaving lipstick in hot weather  I've lost count how many times I had to purchase new purses.

Thanks for the replies, as an admin from my own group I understand the same rules, agreed.

I do spoken word acting, and give Trans 101 talks and other public speaking.  I wear make-up for those occasions.  Sephora is easy for me to get to, and has a foundation that does a good job for me and the sales folks there are Trans Friendly.  Their eye shadow pallets are also fun to use. Another source of my foundation is Ulta which carries Dermablend that does a consistent job of my lower face and chin.   I just use good old Revlon lipsticks because I ruin them by leaving my purse in the hot car too often.

I'm not interested in makeup, jewelry or nice clothes or girly stuff.  It's made me wonder at times.   It saves some money.  If I wore a skirt it would likely  be denim.  I thought about a woman's skirt suit but nah.   Neither of my sisters are into that stuff either.  One likes peasant chic (still a 60s flower girl)  and the other - the only time she has ever worn a dress was at her wedding.  Jeans at all other times.   Jeans and t shirt here.  Content being a girl.  Weirdo. Weirda? Never mind.

@Ladypcnj Before posting links to other group's websites, PM one of the Staff (preferably an Admin) and have them check that site out.   We have specific rules here regarding age appropriateness and would need to know that the other site is in line with those rules.  We do have members here between 13 and 18 and other sites need to be safe for that age range, legally and otherwise.  Also, we are not a dating or pick-up site, not do we allow people selling things to advertise here.  As I said clear the link with a moderator or admin before posting it.  Mod's and admins do check out posts and if we find problem links we will remove them and notify the OP of a rules violation.  Go to https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules to understand where we are.

I raise my hand in the group, I have a question and a suggestion... is it allowed to share other new lgbtq+ website links here?
    • Ladypcnj
Yeah, ELF is a good brand, another brand is Revlon ColorStay last 24 hours.
