Hi Everybody,

I've been on HRT for 5 months. I'm still waiting to become pretty. Ugh, I never gave FFS much thought because I hoped the hormones would round out the rough edges. I can't afford it anyway. Some cheeks would be nice. Is that too much to ask?

We talk a lot about breastesses, but the other effects of HRT are just as important, well almost anyway.

I know, I know, YMMV.

One thing that I've seen happen to many of my girlfriends on HRT is the "softening" of the face....

And the cheeks getting more puffy (especially when smiling)...

I had thought of FFS at one time early on, but after 32 months on HRT..frankly, I don't need it....

Shari, 5 months on HRT is not that long of a time, softening of the skin does starts fairly early on, at over 3 years my skin is soft, thin and i bruise easily, HRT more than likely is not going to make you a super model the same holds true for GG's, we get what we get, some people need FFS some do not, When you said YMMV that is a true statement, transition takes years not months, hang in there.

Hi Shari,

I've been on HRT for nine months now and am just starting to see myself in the mirror as female, and even then I still have a hard time passing in public without makeup. But again I know it is going to happen so, like a turtle, I continue along the path. Frankly I'm glad it's moving slowly now, there is a lot to learn and it helps me prepare better.
