stopping estrogen for two weeks =(

Does anyone else have experience with this? I'm having jaw surgery (oxilliarr maxiloblah blah) on November 9 and my doctor told me not to take estrogen for the two weeks leading up to it.. said it was because of clotting issues

I'm a little bit nervous... this will be my first time in over a year and a half w/o it... am I going to go crazy? I'm more nervous about being off E than my actual surgery

I seriously doubt that it will have any effect at all......just set you back two weeks.....

Heck....remember, you have to stop taking it for two weeks before SRS, too!

There may be some emotional issues, but I think you should be fine. It took me a month to start going loco when I de-transitioned.

I've been taken off for short periods of time and was introduced to chocolate as a medicine. It works!

I became very emotional, like when the traffic light turned yellow, I'd burst into tears.... A very kind woman gave me a bag of Hershey's Kisses. They worked great. When I became wild, 3 of them would calm me right down.

This experience will help you become much more sympathetic with women going through menopause.

yep had surgery and was off 4 days before and 4 days after because of clotting issues. Stayed on the anti androgens though. I had all the symptoms of PMS.
