Your experience with laser after 1 year

I have had 7 laser treatments and I'm happy with the results, so far, I like the look of my face, beard shadow gone. The dark hairs got zapped but light hairs were not and are still there, which is to be expected.

I was curious for those people who have had laser treatments, what their face was like after a year or more after first starting laser treatment. You would have to have had dark colored hair.

Were you happy with the treatments, did the hairs that got zapped stay away.

Did you see some of the dark hairs that were zapped come back and re appear? Were you able to get rid of them if you did with follow up treatments.

I saw a YouTube video where someone had been offered laser with light hair and was disappointed it didn't work. Just curious how regular folks who are good candidates with dark hair experience have been.

Krisina, most of my facial hair was dark gray, interspersed with white. I am very pleased with my results, despite its limitations. I feel I need to shave everyday still, but It takes far less time and is far more effective. I have no beard shadow even after 12 hours, and in the first 6-8 hours there is no trace unless I pass my fingers over it. The hairs that are left are fine and white.

Eventually I'll finish the job with electrolysis, but I am in no rush.

I have had 14 laser treatments and almost all of the dark hairs are gone! What's left is a small stubborn area right under my nose and of course the grey ones. Will have to switch to electro to get those. As Carolyn said, I still shave every morning and the results last a lot longer than before the treatments. The lighter hairs are a bit courser than Carolyns' but they aren't very visible. I will continue the laser for now, and I will start searching for an electro expert.
