I Believe

Something someone said made me think about why I am here. Beyond the the basic answer that I am here because the people here saved my life and I want to help give those who are seeking like I was the same lifeline. And I like the people here. But beyond that what do I hope to say? What is my message?

It is so simple really. And I mean it with every fiber of my being. I believe in you. I want you to believe in you and know that it IS possible to find peace and happiness. No matter how late it seems or how hopeless it looks. You CAN do this and you can find your way to a better place and a better life.

So much of what happens to us as trans people sends the message that we are not okay. That no one believes in us. Well I do. And you can too. Those are the voices of people who have not walked in your shoes and don't understand. I have and I do. My life has not been exactly like yours it's true but I have walked the same path and I have faced so many impossible challenges and I promise you that it is never hopeless and you are never helpless.

And I am not alone. Others here send the same message in their own words. You are not alone. We believe in you.

If you stumble and if you fall I know you can pick yourself up. If you fail I know you can try again. We all fail and we all stumble sometimes. I won't judge you for it-I'll just keep believing in all you can do and all you can be.

Believe in yourself.

To echo: I believe in you.

Whether old or young, possibilities are endless. When life seems pointless or seems to draw to an end, when there is no hope and is no chance, its important to remember. There is hope, there is chance, your life is meaningful, and you can have years yet.

I believe in you.

I believe in your strength, your wisdom, your personality and your physical being.

When all others don't, I believe.

It is just so very true.

I first failed years ago. But after getting up the courage to try again I have made it to where I want to be.

No matter how early or late you are in life, you can be you.
