Hey Maid what year was that (Laura's Playground)?

Im not quite sure when that was screen grabbed. But I was popping in and out of lauras playground around I think 2012 maybe a little earlier or later. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can give the date it came to be. As its kinda hazy for me back then. I had a lot going on in my little world at the time.

Oh the way back machine, let's see I believe Laura's Playground started in 2004, the current forum DB has posts and memberships back to 2007, I wandered into Laura's in 2010 about the time this thread was started.

The zombie never dies

I Remember Laura's and Laura quite well.  She did a lot for this community and has left this space with the welcoming, safe feeling that still exists.  I joined in 2012.

Over time folks have tried to kill the killer thread but it always creeps or leaps back in.

Hugs,

Charlize

As best I can recall, the original forum on Laura's used some software called Xsorbit which was of a type of data that it was impossible to transfer over to the DB software we use now, ie: Invision, so the forums had a fresh start. Looks like it was early 2004 when that started

Possibly 2008 when things moved over to Invision.

Founds the precious. Breaching for a moment before returning to the deep from whence I came. ??

It's done. 2nd shot and an all honest Ouch! Hate feeling sick and sore but it's necessary.??

The soreness abates soon.  You're right it's necessary.

Felt worse for a day or two after the second shot.

Kind of icky and a headache but 3rd day I was better.

First shot was a piece of cake just sore for a day.

An old friend returns!

It never quite goes away 😄

it never died, only was buried deep in the layers of the forum DB to be awakened yet again opening it's eyes to 2022, what does it see ?

Cold weather, sickness (although hopefully waning), division among people and (thankfully) love in many corners of the world. There is hope for the Killer Thread!

The same old wonderful world chugging along through the life experiences of many trans folks.  Not so bad.  Sending greetings to the future if it emerges yet again.

🎶 this is the thread that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend. Some people started reading it not knowing what it was and they’ll continue reading it forever just because. 🎶

It does seem to come alive around this time of year, when it opens it's eyes and looks around into the world, it's now 2023, and what does it see ?

To quote Creedence Clearwater Revival, "I see the bad moon a-risin' I see trouble on the way"

We seem lately to trip along between good times and not so good.  But I am an optimist so I'll smile and keep moving forward.
