Chest Binding With A Back-support

So, I've been binding my chest with a back-support and it's worked pretty well thus far but I have one problem... it tends to bunch at the armpits. Wearing a tank-top underneith tends to minimize the bunching, but it doesn't completely rid me of the problem.

Umm, I'm wondering what I should do about that. Some people I guess sew extra fabric to the things to help but I'm not sure how to go about that. Umm.... yeah.

Like should I just use a normal piece of cotton fabric or would I want something with more thickness to it? How about basically closing it? Should I just leave it attached to the back-support open or should I put a button on it so I can essentially close that too so it keeps uniform with the back-support?

I know I'm not wearing it too tight. I don't have any problems (thus far) with skin-irritation or breathing (though I have had a bit of back pain, but I think that's caused by the coupling of wearing something restrictive on my chest and my bad posture (I'm always slouching... my teachers in grade school tried to make me stop but it never worked)).

Just generally... what's the best way to remedy this problem? It's a bit ackward... at least for me (I'm not sure anyone else would notice, depending on how I stand and place my arms, really)... because I really notice it and it makes it obvious that I'm binding my chest - which is not exactly what I'm going for. I love having my chest bound and I'm just too big up top to pass without doing it... so I really need some advise on this.

No problem. Ow, duck tapes sounds like it'd hurt a lot, though it's probably no worse than the ace wraps I used to use

When I first started binding, i would use packaging tape. sometimes my friends would help me bind in the bathroom back in high school. it did of course hurt like crap in the winter months. but being in Florida at the time, the tape would sometimes slip down in the hotter months due to sweating. now i wear a double compression shirt from underworks and i must say, it was the best investment i have ever made. no more ripping skin off on tape. the binder has really improved my confidence and above all, being a drag king, it feels more comfortable while performing.
