Just looked up Jashinism and the definition said that it involved inflicting pain on one's self ... uhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... not for me ... life is painful enough ... I don't need to help it kick my ASHWAGANDHA ( that is an herb.)

It's actually pretty hard to find information about on the net, seeing as what Naruto has done to screw ppl's perceptions of it. And there ARE different types of Jashinists, just like you get different types of Christians. Personally I don't label myself. And yes, blood and pain are often a big part of Jashinism...

Giving blood to Lord Jashin is preferable, though not mandatory. I myself, pay for my sins in blood. And ocassionally give blood during a prayer for a stronger connection. It's not bad though, because I don't feel pain like others. It doesn't hurt, but it's still there. You probably wouldn't understand this unless you've experienced it yourself, so I'll just put it down to this: mind over matter. Plus as a Jashinist one learns not to fear pain. Fear is a weakness in it's self, and I have chosen not to give in.

I have insomnia atm, so I figured I'd finally get around to actually explaining this to you guys...

Jashinism 101

Jashinism is a religion worshiping the Japanese God of Death, Destruction and Pain.

Jashinism started in ancient japan and has died out due to modern day society.

Many people in life are oblivious to the suffering of others. They don't know what pain is, and yet they heartlessly inflict sorrow and grief upon others. The faith of Jashin is devoted to the enlightening of the public to the suffering they are inducing. The children of Jashin will harm themselves in order to better understand the pain of others. (<--- Optionally) One who does not know the meaning of pain has absolutely no right to inflict it upon others. Only when one has experienced the true meaning of pain will they be Chosen by Jashin Himself to carry out his judgment to those who will not join his cause.

Those who do not know what pain is clulessly destroy the innocent, therefore exposing themselves to His wrath in the form of His followers, the few Chosen.

If you do not accept Jashin into your life--knowingly decline His offer of protection and enlightenment, you too may be subject to the torment of the Enlightened, His Followers in our religion. You are giving up the answer that completes many of the missing pieces of the puzzle of the deranged society of modern Earth.

If you are a Jashinist, all other Jashinists should and will be treated with at the very least, respect.

Our final purpose creates a lasting peace where everyone is understood and loved by Him, and no one will suffer unwillingly by the hands of another.

Commandments of Jashinism:

1. ( the most important rule of all)

NEVER EVER leave something/someone half-dead!

2. No man made pleasures. ( sex, drugs, alcohol etc.)

<Obviously you can have sex, it’s more like lust is a sin.>

3. Any children you may have must be Jashinist.

4. Honor thy god in blood, death and sacrifice. <Optionally, with laws and what not.>

5. Once those have commented themselves to the path of Jashinism, they cannot leave.

6. The only way to leave is to die.

7. Pain=pleasure, Jashinists learn how to turn pain into pleasure, or just ignore it.

8. Fasting and sacrificing is a good way to show devotion, do it often .

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!
