happy new year everyone.

just thought id post my agenda/priority list for my transition..

now that i am on hrt, my next steps ill lay out.

electrolysis/ laser for five oclock shadow, as affordable

legal name change, asap

hair replacement surgery/ hair transplants when i can afford it

adams apple shave down, when i can afford it

nose job, also when affordable

facial lypo, just a little bit, when affordable

breast implants, if necessary, down the road abit, and when affordable.

orchiotomy?

srs?

remember, this is just my personal wish list, for info only, not as a guide for others.

and most importantly, ongoing psychological counseling, and continuing hrt with my doctor.

my wife has experience with electrolysis and laser and we may look into getting a home setup. just to keep costs down.

my wife has extensive training in cosmetics, and is highly trained as a beautician, and in skin care. microdermabrasion, facials. shes been doing these things for twenty years, so i wouldnt recommend trying these things yourself.

shes teaching me the wonderful world of makeup and skin care too.

shes amazing at fashion design and attended FIT in nyc.

we buy mostly all of our clothes at marshalls, tjmaxx, and ross.

those are great places to get designer fashions in a variety of sizes and styles at affordable prices.

we also shop at forever 21, not the best quality but very inexpensive, and occasionally cache, bebe, white house black market, bcbg, nordstrom rack(outlet), "needless markup"/neiman marcus last call outlet, and saks off 5th outlet. there are others.

great place for shoes is shoe show, payless, etc. they have big sizes. im a 12m, so its a challenge to find them.

i think she may be planning on doing consulting to help mtf tgs with their transition too.

that would be the most rewarding work shes done. shes a very gracious person, that loves to help people.

im very blessed to have her in my life, her support, and her undying love.

ill try to post what i learn so it can benefit us all.

God bless you all,

Eliza D

Your spouse sounds amazing, Eliza. Be good to her.

I wouldn't put an orchi on your list if you're planning on GRS. It can reduce the amount of material available to your surgeon. Definitely focus on getting rid of the beard and don't change your name until you are ready to go full time. Other than that, good start at planning and don't be surprised when things change :D

oh year, i forgot that you need that part for proper srs.

im full time now, a transition in progress. the name change i need soon. having a real time tolerating my given birth name. it is the mask ive worn for 33 years. it is not who i am.

ill see if i can find out how to legally change it.

thanks, my wife is awesome. i am very blessed.

im going to donate every last one of my man clothes and accessories to goodwill. i refuse to ever put man clothes on again.

everything male, out the door! the woman in the "iron mask", is back and retaking her throne!

yeeaaah! long live freedom.

i know i may sound a bit over-zealous at times. trust me, im just over-joyed.

its amazing to be alive, and living for the first time!

hooray! im so happy!

@MaeBe, Good luck and best wishes on the new start in the Great Northwest. I don’t know a parent that didn’t call out their kids for being drunk or high as rebellious teenagers. I just told my teens that they can’t kid a kidder, and I was a teenager early 1970s we could drink legally at 18 so I have tons of experience spotting drunk kids.    As for the poetry, I liked it.  We never have enough support bras or tee shirts in the rotation.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Oh my @KymmieL, I’m sorry you’re on the job hunt again. They didn’t seem to be a good fit for you anyway. You deserve to be treated fairly and not undermined by competing owners who don’t communicate well.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Welcome to Transgender Pulse Forums.    @BobbiSkunk I’m also working through my late in life transition. You are among like minded people here. Feel free to join in on any of the threads you like. I’m sure others will drop in and say hi. Remember we’re family friendly with potential minors in the conversation so we want to keep everything PG.    Best wishes, stay positive and motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Greetings everyone,   This is my introduction, I'm old and like donuts!  Let's see, what else...   I started my transition VERY recently, 5/17, after feeling like I've been uncomfortable doing it for like 20 years.  I lived in states where LGBT rights are strained, and have recently moved to a more friendly state.  I'm short, like gardening and crafts and rain.  Still a huge mixture of nervous, scared, excited and elated to finally be in a position where I can start.  I'm kind of easily excited, have the attention span of a humming bird does that to one, and usually medicate that with video games.  Not much else about me for now.  Started exercising so I can get my weight down as part of the transformation.  Still, I joined as I have questions and wanted to be with like minded folks.   Also, love trading recipes.
