Who am I there are days when i am happy just being a male, there are other days I feel happy to me a male wearing make up with my hair all done up maybe with some jewerly on and wearing a cute outfit, with high heels and then they are other days I wish that I was all women it gets me so confused sometime there are days when I can't even figure out who I am, Dose anyone else feel like that, Rebecka43 and thanky you Laura you save my life

I have tried to be the best male I could be, but now with the support (realization) of my wife, I am now getting the help I need through the forums and a theripist. Hey Rebecka,

I think the best thing you can do is to try and not worry about who or what you are. If you enjoy the varied presentations you spoke of don't concern yourself with the underlying reasons. It took me a very long time to understand my own position on the gender spectrum. I'm so glad I didn't rush into anything. A long time ago there was a time when I confused my love of the female look and wanting that look for myself with being a transsexual. I realize now that wanting badly to emulate a woman is not the same as wanting to be a woman. I'm happy being "just" a crossdresser, but it did take quite a bit of time to confirm that. Be patient, search your feelings, study, and inquire. Take it slow and enjoy the journey.

Hi Rebecka, Find a good gender counselor some professional who can listen and advise...living in limbo can do more harm than good. Talking to someone with a sympathic ear 'in person' will do you the world of good. Have you looked into local support groups in your area?

Hi...Been married almost 30 years. I'm still madly in love with her. I have been a cd for most of my life and only came out to my wife a couple of years ago. I had to come out because the urge to dress was getting greater and I figured it was best to tell her than to get caught. I now keep my clothes in the closet, but its still a don't talk about it subject.

Wow, people asking the same questions 3 1/2 years ago. Probably the same answers too. The past year the feelings have been getting stronger. Today I have had painted toenails all winter, last haircut in October, and trimmed off most of the body hair two weeks ago...Wife hasn't threatened me yet but I know I'm lucky in that regard. I have a trans Valentines party in 2 weeks. I'm holding out on the haircut until after. I can use a curling iron, style it etc. right now and love it. Should I stop before I hit the point of no return?

I understand the frustration, the anger and the confusion.

However, I can't tell you are what you are from a paragraph of text. I can sympathize and offer support, but honestly, this is a journey that we all need to figure out not only where to start, but where we want it to take us.

You can be as "all woman" as you want. Being a trans woman or woman identified person, or even that side of you that comes out twice a week in heels and cute outfits doesn't make you less of a woman hon.

And yeah, I know exactly how you feel. It's why I'm giving you the advice to go talk to a therapist and do some serious soul searching.
