Facial laser hair removal price

So, I was wondering if anyone here can give me a rough estimate of how much laser hair removal on the face costs. I'm thinking I may end up getting laser hair removal first, then get electrolysis to get the stragglers left behind, which is why I'm asking.

Where I live I've been going to a place that has the best equipment in town. I pay $330 a session and have had eight sessions so far. What have the results been from eight treatments? 70% reduction in the amount of hair on my face approximately. I have lighter hairs on my face that will need electrolysis, but for the time being I am still having laser treatment on my face, it's working.

Keep an eye on sites such as groupon or living social. they often have deals for laser. I ended up getting 6 sessions over my whole face for $189. usually there is a cheap price shown for small areas and higher prices for medium and large ones. if they dont list full face in their list of areas, call and ask what size of area it would be.

Good post Gwen.......

Yes, someone that I personally know used one of the coupon deals and got a LOT done for very little money!

Give it a shot!

I found a full face, 3 session package on groupon for 199.99. I bought two. I am two sessions in and what little hair remains grows in MUCH slower and is far finer.

I am doing the same thing you are planning. Laser for the broadsword, electro for the scalpel for the few that didn't learn their lesson and still remain.

Hi.

Does laser hair removal treatment give "permanent" results please?

SarahW

It does give some permanent results, meaning on some of the hairs on the face not all.

The FDA calls laser permanent hair reduction. Not everyone is a good candidate for laser. Ideally dark hair is the best for laser. When the treatment is done properly after multiple repeat treatments that could be up to 15 like I think Autumn has had so far, what is gone will remain gone. Blonde, or white hairs forget it. But if you have a face with mostly dark hairs then yes it could help. It will most likely have to be followed up by electrolysis for hairs that weren't affected by the laser. Electrolysis is the only treatment that the FDA calls permanent hair removal.

I have had one laser treatment so far. I can say that I'm less than 15% coverage now. I didn't have a lot to begin with. I would highly suggest finding a place that is right for you. The place where I go wanted to sell me a 8 treatment package. I said "no thank you". I knew that I would only need three or four treatments so a package of eight would be a waste. Do your homework and you will save money in the long run. Not every place that gives you a discount is cheaper!!!! My sessions are $200.oo a pop, but I'm getting wonderful results. I would add one more thing. Your tolerances of pain will effect the results as well. If the person giving the treatments is able to preform with higher power then you get better success. It can be painful, Like being popped in the face with a rubber band repeatedly.

FDA will give laser treatments about 90% reduction with a 10% error margin. I myself should easily get to 90%. I'm about there now. Maybe one more treatment. then head to electrolysis.

I pay 100$ each time, with a package deal 500$ for 6 sessions and if you get the package, it's half off for all treatments on the same area afterwards. The nurse said it looks like I would need about 12 treatments. So I'm looking at 800$ total. I was in for my first appointment earlier this week. It was quick didn't hurt that bad except for the ones on my chin and a little on my side burns.

I'll agree with the rubber band thing. Totally worth it though. Maybe next time I'll have her crank it to 11!

I paid $1,600 for my face, which took 10 monthly sessions before I felt I was done. I paid in installments with no interest, so I thought it was a pretty good deal. I am very happy with the results.

People can't believe how blond my hair is at 57, but I'm still as blond as I was as a teen so no go on laser. Everybody told me my hair would darken the older I got. In the summer months out in the sun and the pool and my hair is more blond than what you get out of a bottle. I have some grey hairs, but they are hidden in the blond hairs. Kathryn

I took an involuntary swim wearing my quick dry hiking pants and shirt. Lifejacket not shown but present on the rock I am sitting on. Watson is dry now but I am still soaked. I capsized my kayak 5 feet from the shore trying to land on an island. Water in the pond was surprisingly warm considering it is early may in upstate New York.

Oh I will. He loves to just sleep on the couch and sleep. Not very active at all which I'm mixed about. Less to do but also want him to do more too.

We had a German Shepheard/Lab cross! It was actually our son's dog but when he moved out, Axel stayed here. ❤️ He was soooo awesome! Totally goofy, but really smart, and a million percent lovable. Unfortunately, he didn't even get to see his fifth birthday. 😢 He did both hind knees in quick succession, which were repaired, but he re-injured one and it wasn't repairable. The grief we went through after we made that horrible decision was far worse than anything we have ever experienced before or after.    @Ashley0616, please be gentle with his joints until he is all grown up!   This pic is when he was still a puppy.

Friday night was pizza night, which is actually pretty routine here.    Tonight was a bit of a seafood fry-up. Crumbed flathead tails pan fried, crumbed scallops and chips (fries) deep fried, and a salad.   Tomorrow night will be junk food at a football game.

I was admitted upstairs for observation. The nurse last night took one look at me and said, "we need to use a FEMALE external catheter on you."   They placed a PureWick catheter over me and it's working great. If there isn't anything to connect a male catheter to it just isn't going to work.   So far I haven't passed more blood, and my abdomen does feel better. A specialist is supposed to see me today and perhaps order a colonoscopy to find out where all the blood came from.
