Hi girls

I recently began to more fully accept that I am a crossdresser. I told my S/O, bought my own clothes, wigs, under garments, etc... And contacted a support group to join so I can leave my house and enjoy life as a woman with other like-minded woman. I am so excited, but not sure what to expect. Can anyone please share their first experience of being part of a support group do that my expectations are real and not just fantasy?

Groups meetings are wonderful. You are amongst others that feel the same way and you can finally relax and allow yourself to be free. No one will judge you. No one will make fun of you. You will be accepted with open arms.

Group meetings are confidential and a safe haven.

Go, let your hair down and relax. Sometimes it's easier if you latch on to someone.a member that looks comfortable will usually take you under their wing and help you adjust. When I was going to group I always made myself approachable and tried to be friendly.

Best of luck and please let us know how it went.

Its great to be in a group, but there are a wide range of how they act and get together. Some are literally a "man in a dress" convention where the dress is a uniform, and not all that much a definition of femininity, the conversation will be typical man stuff, and a few may even have beards. Others will have feminine "how to's" as the meeting theme where you can find yourself feeling like a Barbie Doll with all the helpfulness. Most will be somewhere in the middle, with a relaxed, no judgment atmosphere with some people who are "weekenders" and others who may approach the actual TS end of things. At those meetings you can get into discussions on what makes you tick or tock, and some of the problems and feelings that go with the territory. A few will have special meetings for your SO's as well as you, and those can be helpful. Major goal is to find where YOU are on the TG map. Have fun.

Go, relax and have fun. I cannot tell you what to expect except there will usually be an instant understanding and you will not have to explain yourself. As this is a first time, they will likely sort of adopt you.

BUT

Don't judge them either. I was appalled at some of the people I met that I just could not relate to at first - the 'men in a dress' types - the belligerent 'I am what I am and screww you' types - and the ones who are not female or even feminine. There can be thrill seekers and autogynophilic people there.

AND

There can also be very gentle. loving women who just happen to be male bodied. These sometimes just break your heart with their love of finally being their true selves, and at the same time, their hardships of being transgendered.

This support group should be fun. And if it is not - look for other support groups. Being with like-minded people is really an eyeopener.

Autumn - these are the most comforting and exciting words I can imagine. This describes how I have envisioned it. Thanks for your kind, warm and generous words.

I am going to a group meeting this week. It's going to be my first. I really don't know what to expect.

I was going to take my fiancé but I think I should check it out myself first. I am actually quite excited at the prospect of making a new friend that has their boat in the same lake so to speak.

OMG - I am at my first weekend event. Went to the mall, got a makeover, mani- pedi, and bought a new georgeous dress. Then met the whole group for dinner and had an absolute blast. LOVED IT!!! Cannot wait for tomorrow spending the entire weekend en femme. I feel like such a woman.

Went to my second group meeting last week but went from home not work so I dressed a bit. I wore a padded bra, womens sweater T, earings and combed my hair (shoulder length) femme, stockings under my jeans. Road the city bus both ways (thank heaven for winter clothes), with a friend on the way home.

I felt quite leberated and will do it again.

There are many MAGA GOP types who are not transphobes, of course. Some MAGA GOP types are transgender.

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either

so, a close friend wants to cook for me   the issue is, she is a vegitarian and won't handle meat- I, on the other hand, won't handle vegetables- hate the things   every time she goes out to the shop, she comes back with something.. a cake, a fruit smoothie, a coffee, I won't eat any of it. please help me think of something that she could make for me that I'll actually eat   disclaimer: you are talking to the most pickiest eater in the world. good luck

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

      Who, precisely, are "they"?

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.    I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.   White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.   Jeans, flip flops.   I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

That is all that is necessary. I did the same thing. I must have gotten something wrong.

Quite right mate! I have been letting my hair grow out again (I cut it all off when I was 18).    I'll never look this good:    But I'll aspire to look my best! ☺️
